So far in my experience I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this VA medical center and hands down walk in and out holding my head up knowing that my decision to serve my country is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED and the people that work here relay that many times over and over and show investment in solving and making your situation as comfortable and smooth as possible..... UNFORTUNATELY back in Minnesota the VA system and people that are supposed to have you in mind make you feel like you are a burden to them and most veterans walk away more disgruntled than when they saught out help or just blatantly refused help when swallowing the little pride that was within at least that was my experience on a daily basis the times I did seek help for the mental and physical roadblocks that developed that were out of my control which I ln turn caused and continued to keep me to habitually homeless and knowing that which would solve those problems but not being directed by those mandated reporters that by law are REQUIRED TO REPORT and SEE TO IT THAT IS to be solved or worked on towards a solution. I have a extensive list of those MANDATED REPORTERS that continued to FAIL AND UPHOLD THE OATH OF THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION POLICY but WHEN ASKED AROUND COULDN'T seem to find anyone to direct me in a somewhat forward motion of plan of action or what to do to help myself advocate it out or bring an TORT CLAIM against that injustice and quite frankly despicable and soul crushingly painstakingly situations of non foreseeable hope of change THAT IS UNTIL I WALKED ONTO the Jefferson Barracks and eventually arriving at POPLAR BLUFF VA and HOUSED at SEMO CRC.... TRULY IUNEXPECTED NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE....GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN JESUS NAME AMEN....

I was scheduled for a procedure, went in through the ER, the desk clerk was very nice, she had nearly all my paperwork ready. All I had to do was give a copy of my meds and insurance cards for her to copy. I was called back within minutesthe nurse was extremely nice. Was put in a room where they took my vitals and explained everything, everyone was knowledgeable and explained every detail of what would take place . I could not have been more pleased with my experience and want to say that everything was very clean, very impressive, I hope if I ever have to go there in the future that I will be as pleased as I was with this visit.

I could stay home and do this online but because this place is as great as it is id rather drive 45 / 50 minutes too come here. The doctor is amazing, the staff is so nicely characterized. I highly recommend Stonewater for any teen boy that is struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction. Our teen went through the ninety day program and graduated a different person. The time and effort that the staff puts into these boys on an individual basis is great. He went there not knowing anyone and came home with lifelong friends. Not only with the other boys, but with the staff. They care about these boys and show it through their hard work and dedication. The staff is not there just for the boys but for the families.
