Dr. Shiue is an amazing physician, she was my son's pedestrian, I remember him getting sick and i would call and she would always see him I know she worked through lunch and stayed late as well. He was 21 and no longer technically her patient but had not seen an adult Phyician and was going to be over a week to get in, I called the office with my concerns, they spoke with her and she saw him through her lunch break, Dr. Shiue also called the adult Doctor and got him in the next day, turned out he had a really bad case of pneumonia. Dr. Shiue also gave me her private cell number to call her if I needed anything. She is totally an amazing person as well as a physician, she really cares about her patients and the parents as well, she has called me after hours to follow up on my son. It was very hard to move on to an adult physician. I can not say enough about the staff and her. My son is now grown and is expecting a little one of his own and of course Dr. Shiue will be her Doctor. I trusted her with my son and now my Granddaughter 100 %. Dr. Shiue is one in a million and can't say how happy I am she will be seeing my Granddaughter

My daughter came here after years of issues. Could not get her to stop hurting herself. We had one other residential school that she was in. This place is God sent. I see a major difference in her. I would recommend this school to any parent struggling with a child/teen. They work with you as well, weekly meetings. So you become part of the solution. I am so impressed by the work that Missouri Girls Town does for the young women in its care. Executive Director Jenny Preiss works tirelessly to find and manage top-quality staff. These individuals do an outstanding job of making the girls feel seen and cared for. The professional staff work to help the girls overcome the trauma they have experienced. I've learned, most of the girls in their care are on their eighth or ninth placement when they get to the Girls Town campus. I'm so glad they have this safe, nurturing place to call home.

I have been to other locations specifically a neighboring county and I would say the Troy location has gone above and beyond my expectations based on my previous experiences in other locations. They are all very friendly, understanding, and even got me in quickly when I missed an appointment. Natasha is awesome nurse Bethany is great and the drs, therapists, front desk, and counselors are all really friendly and as accommodating as they can be! I d recommend this facility if you re looking for services and want the help you will find it here! They even have a ping pong table in the day room. a good experience every time overall.
