Healing House made such a positive impact on my life. When I went in I was broken and beat down from many years of drug use, and I honestly didn't know how to function like a normal person anymore. They brought rules and structure to my everyday life. The leaders actually care about the people coming in the door. Not to say that are going to coddle you, they are very real and expect you to work an honest program. And I found in my time there that most everyone I knew including myself that actually wanted to get clean; did very well in the program. So thank you Healing House. You will always have a place in my heart.

The psychiatrist I got from here is good. Psychologist is not so great. Good luck on your experiences.

I'm grateful my friends and family recommended I pursue services here at CMHS!As a walk-in clinic, I was prepared to wait a few hours, and was very comfortable during my relatively short stay in the waiting room. Within less than two hours, I had finished both the paperwork in the waiting room, and been back to complete the intake questions with a staff member.She informed me that due to a delay earlier that morning, the therapy team was still catching up and would be available in about 1.5 hours, so I was okay with leaving and coming back in a bit. Luckily, less than half an hour later, the staff called me to let me know they'd seen I am actually outside of CMHS' catchment area, and they immediately gave me a similar provider in my area who even had better hours for my availability. I didn't have to make the trip back to CMHS at all for this info!The CMHS team did everything possible to respect my time and health with every resource they had available, and it was a pleasure to work with the front desk and intake staff. I would recommend Comprehensive Mental Health Services to all.Thank you CMHS!

Okay, first off I was there for 8-9 days. They said the recommended stay was 3-7. They don't discharge on weekends. But everyone was so nice there. Except one person told the entire group that we had to knock on our door just to leave. Even when everyone is up and out of the rooms. The only time we NEEDED to knock is during the room times, before we have to wake up and after we was supposed to sleep. When it wasn't time for either of those 3, they still said we had to knock. I thought that was stupid because I would just go in the room for 2 seconds and come out. But no one else knocked and the person got onto me because I didn't knock. I wanted to be so sarcastic at that point but I didn't. I wanted to go into my room whenever I needed something, wait by the door and knock each time before I leave but stand there until I got an answer. But I didn't. An another thing was there was only 1 shower! Out of 4! Like yeah one person in the bathroom at a time but there was 2 bathrooms. There was only 1 shower curtain in the brown door bathroom. So we had to wait hours to get our turn. When I got my turn people knocked on my door SIX times! I told them I was still showering and by the last knock I lost my patience and screamed. People walked in on me multiple times. Like we should have name tags to put on the door to let people know who's in there. And whenever I got there they asked if I was allergic to anything. I just told them I absolutely HATE tomatoes. They put tomatoes on almost everything! And a couple days before I left I had a fresh ear piercing and needed help putting it in. They just told me to look for the hole after I tried 6 times and spent 10 minutes trying to do. They were no help when I asked. But for the love of Jesus Christ! Get shower curtains in both bathrooms and fix the showers in unit 8!

Parking is a little hectic in the morning. It's great that they have multiple drivers for pickup in the parking lot.The entrance drive is a NIGHTMARE. It was poorly built and designed for drop-off and pickups!

Great programs they have here at common ground Excellent program for older adults. My brother has been going to common ground for 30 plus years. He has outlasted plenty of staff members. The clients are each other s family members.

My name is Thomas Towler. I was placed in Spofford Home in January 1985 I was 4 years old at the time. When I was in Spofford was known as Corey Potter. There was a time out room that the staff put you in if you did something wrong. I remember one of dormmates would always get picked on based on his name.
