My bed is awful but the people here are amazing! Ive been here for 3 nights and have had nothing but fabulous nurses. And doctors. And operating room people. All have been extra - Not just average people doing a mediocre job. They are top tier humans and are so well suited for this job. Everyone has been so kind and confident and have made me feel so well taken care of. Im so very thankful.Im a 43 year old mom who has had several surgeries & 6 births resulting in numerous hospital stays. A stellar staff makes a hospital great. Uncomfortable beds are not that big of a deal.

Thank you for the positive feedback, Shana! All of us at Mercy Hospital strive to provide our patients with the highest quality of care possible, and we are happy to hear about your positive experience.
I had orthopedic surgery here, I woke up after a 7 hour surgery in the ICU ward. My nurse waited on me hand and foot to keep me comfortable. Now I know why they go on strike for more money for everything they do for the patient. My nurse "Laura" (I don't know her last name) is an amazing person, I had a lot of complications after the surgery. She made me feel like I was part of her family the way she took care of me. The hospital should compensate her for more money for her hourly wage because she is the best nurse they have there. Please give her this message..... THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR ME WHILE I WAS THERE!!!Mark Renstrom
