My friend is there so she can be safe. I l8ve that when she needed help so desperately, they took her in that very same day.

They did a wonderful job with our son. When our son was discharged, he was a different kid for the better. Oaklawn is a great facility, and I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff are very professional and know what to do and how to do it to help the children.

Well things have changed at Oaklawn in south bend. I ve been assigned a new physician Dr. Platt. I haven t seen him yet but his nurse has been very helpful. She called me and said that Dr. Platt prescribed something to get me through until my appointment. He was not so selfish with prescribing me something to get me throughout this waiting period. I am very grateful and have to withdraw my last report

From more they helped change my life

This program saved my life. It made the saying Once an addict in active addiction always an addict in active addiction a out of date, bias, discriminatory, and just a completely false statement in my world. I OWE MY LIFE TO THIS PROGRAM!! It is not just a legal drug dealer ! Tim ( RIP MY DEAR FRIEND), Cindy, and David all three of my addiction counselors were compassionate, fair, always willing to shine their inner light if mine went dim. They are also former addicts (functioning in recovery ) who at all the stages in my recovery the last 9 years have been who I needed when I needed. each their own special skill set. Having them be recovering addicts makes them understand things that people who have not experienced addiction themselves understand. This makes them a priceless asset in my recovery. Can going be frustrating at times, yes. No more than going to a busy grocery store. Victory is a blessing to those who are still suffering in our local communities.

It is a great place as long as you want the help they offer.

This place and the doctor she's sees has been amazing. They have really helped her and have been great with adjusting meds as needed and listening to her.

I think they are really professional and the work they do is really valuable. Only thing I would change is that is really complicated to make an appt, also the process is really long and the time you see the doctor becomes so short, I would improve that because after all, we all love their labor in the town.

If you're ready for change, this is the place for you. Even though I was court ordered I quickly realized this place has been helpful. In my case I'm learning more than just helpful tips to avoid the charge that brought me here. I wish I would've known about this place years ago. For me C.P.R. has been organized with my paperwork. They have been friendly, and personal, and a lot of the people I've met here I've enjoyed the friendship. I've seen people come here that clearly aren't ready to change, and they don't. They have bad attitudes the whole time, and they're rude to staff. It's sad, but you can't change anyone, you can provide them helpful tools though. The best part of this place? It's open to the public. If I'm still in the area I plan on continuing coming to the classes once my ordered classes are done.
