Aactc has helped me change my behavior and remain clean the staff are helpful they will go above and beyond to do what they can for you as long as you do your requirements for the program. The director Ken is a fair man he will do what he can for you but you have to be willing to meet half way and show him your trying then he will go to bat for you.Since Ken has been director the consulars seem to stay as compared to pervious directors they would be hear 1 day then gone the next. The nurse Mel is awesome she is friendly and just makes the process alot better. The secretary Terri tries to get you in and out as quick as possible she takes alot of people's frustrations because of this or that and still keeps a smile and just makes it a more enjoyable experience. Then there's days that can just be a smile and laughter. This place was amazing, Rita was my psychology nurse practitioner, and was extremely thorough, understanding, and helpful, she gave me a plan for care, and gave me back up plans if what we decided upon together for the original plan did not work out for me. I walked in slightly skeptical because of my one and only interaction with psychology before this, and left feeling so relieved, and feel excited to follow up with her, and am confident my mental health will only improve as long as I stick with our plan. Also excited to see the therapist there because psychology is only half the battle. Thank you Still Waters for making me feel welcome, safe, and secure from the moment I walked in the door.

Best experience for recovery in the state in my opinion. Food is great, plenty of activities, outside time, basketball and other enjoyable options. The classes were amazingly enjoyable and informative. The staff and cooks were always helpful , kind. They offer AA or NA meetings. If you re struggling with any substance abuse you owe it to yourself to at least check them out. Don t hesitate to start your journey to sobriety. You ll thank yourself later.

This location is beautifully laid out. The landscaping is first rate. On site are training locations for teachers as well as for students. The buildings are kept in good shape. The bathrooms and facilities are kept clean.The cafeterias are in good working order. Their sports fields are maintained well. The school is in a quiet setting away from major manufacturing, thoroughfares and commercial shopping.The only drawback I see is the sheer size of the place. Otherwise with proper monitoring of the school setting and the children themselves this school should provide a good, over all education and preparation for higher learner or skilled trades. It is a pleasure to see the wooded area close by.Some of the parking lots need work but they are not quite that deteriorated at this time. The site is well lit in the evening. It is deserted, as you would expect, at night.

I have gone here for a while and the care I was given was life changing. I'm 20 so I still am a pediatric patient but I handle all my own medical stuff. I also felt incredibly safe there as a trans person. Scheduling mistakes had been made before but they've been easy to fix and have always been caught early.
