You get out what you put in and if you put yourself in all the way- you get the world in return. I have made so many connections and strong relationships that will last a lifetime because of VH. I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

This place helped me when I was in a dark place. The workers are lovely and very helpful sans for one or two that made me feel like I was a nuisance to them. Other patients were also quite friendly, and if it weren't for them, I would have just stayed in my assigned room and did nothing. The "therapy" (I say it like that because it was more like life lesson classes and various activities) they scheduled throughout the days I was there did teach me things that stuck with me to this day. I haven't been nearly as self destructive as I was before I was sent here, and even though I was really only there due to behavior related to prescription withdrawal, I came out a happier person.

How Much Does Drug Rehab Cost in Omaha?

Omaha is the 31st most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $62209. This is higher than the average cost of $58777 for addiction treatment in Nebraska and higher than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.

The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Omaha vary widely and depend on several factors, including:

Comparing the Cost of Rehab in Omaha

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.

These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.

How to Pay for Addiction Treatment in Omaha?

There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Omaha. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. Drug Use in Omaha

Omaha has the 80th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Douglas county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Omaha or Douglas county as a whole.

Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Omaha.
