outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

Early Intervention consists primarily of the educational 16-hour "Prime For Life” curriculum. It assists individuals in exploring risk factors and recognizing the harmful consequences of inappropriate drug & alcohol use. The goal is to equip Marines to “Protect What You’ve Earned” by making more responsible substance use life choices. Early Intervention sessions are conducted once a month, or more frequently as may be needed.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. Following treatment completion, individuals collaborate with their Counselor in the development of an aftercare plan. SACC then provides this plan to the Commander in the form of a recommendation for the required one-year period of unit monitoring.

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Great gym, but the hours are terrible. Also, the pool is nice when it's open, but I've gone there before during their "open hours" and the place was close.

Henderson Hall is a portion of a Joint Army and Marine Corps military Installation. Henderson Hall access gate is strictly DOD, GOV ID card holder only. As I found out you MUST keep windows rolled up when going through the gate.
