They provide a comfortable setting for clients to rid their bodies of substances under medical supervision. Clients also have access to a serene environment for relaxation, nutritious meals, and nightly 12-Step meetings. Detox duration depends on factors such as the substance abused and the overall health and well-being of each client.

Their residential program offers a client-centered space to live in during treatment. Clients have access to daily group and individual counseling, education, 12-Step meetings, and a family program to heal holistically and promote long-term sobriety. They also provide freshly prepared food, a one-time massage, and outdoor amenities like volleyball, basketball, and horseshoes.

Their gender-separate sober living homes are a bridge between independence and support for those transitioning from an initial program. Clients have access to a drug-free environment with comfortable bedrooms, proximity to job opportunities, 12-Step meetings, and other community services.

Maynords Recovery Center may work with major insurance companies, like Wellmark, Kaiser Permanente, Anthem, Ambetter, and Magellan Health, to cover treatment costs to some degree. Out-of-network benefits can differ, so always verify your insurance with your provider.

theere is a sense of apathy radiating from some employees. Wish i was introduced to at least one professional nurse, counselor, advisor, someone. I dont believe there is one on site. Over heard employees talk about how bad this place has gone down hill now that its not family run like they claim. I felt like a walking paycheck to them. I made it an hour and a half there before leaving. I told them I would get sober through my chuch when asked what I was going to do instead. He looked at me and said, "Thats not going to work!" and walked away. They did let me wait in a hot storage room while my wife came back and got me though. No sign of GOD or his SON in this place.

I would like to hear more of what you experienced as in no way would we want any one to feel they were not receiving the best care they could possibly receive. I m sorry you chose to not give sobriety through Maynords a chance. Please contact me directly and ask to speak to the Director.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
When an individual is in denial about their substance use disorder, their loved ones may organize a drug intervention in California. This effort involves gently but assertively confronting the individual about their substance use and sharing how it has affected those who care about them. A professional interventionist may also attend this gathering. Their expertise with intervention services can prove helpful in guiding the conversation to a positive result.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

The people working here lack human decency. My mom, in her 60's has a chronic respatory problem and there was a Covid outbreak at Maynards. The place is located way way out on a very long winding road, 3 hours from her home or husband, with no money on her and they kicked her out at 9 o'clock at night because she wanted to have her husband come the next day, and avoid getting Covid on top of her already chronic cough. Shame on these people.

My Instructor Chris instilled in me that If I do the same thing I did yesterday I won't drink or use drugs today. I keep my sobriety because of that phrase.

I received treatment at Maynords in 2006 and remain sober to this day.! The staff was awesome, the grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. i was terrified to go at first but once I got there and got settled in, it was actually a great experience and I really enjoyed my time there. They don't overcrowd so there are only so many people admitted for each 28 day period. I was lucky enough to get the most genuine, funny and wonderful people to go through that whole experience with. I will remember them forever. The staff were the coolest. They provided counseling and support and gave me the tools I needed to achieve long term sobriety. They really got through to me and change my way of thinking. Trust me, if you need help.... call Maynords. They are top of the line!!

Just plain rude office team.I was not a resident but a family member was a resident and the front desk was the rudest people (both women) I have ever experienced. All I want to do was leave a supportive message for my family member and the front desk woman actually giggled over the phone at my supportive message.Cookooos running the office at a recovery house is not ideal!

Going to Maynords to get help with substance abuse was the most crucial decision I have ever made. I went to Maynords on May 21st 2016. They have some of the best food I have ever eaten. The staff will help you to no end if you are willing to do the same for yourself. After treatment I went to their sober living program, got a job, and stayed there for almost two years, this was the second best thing I could have done for myself. Maynords still feels like home to me.

It saved my life. I was on rx drugs from 14-25 years old. Maynords introduced me to AA and taught me how to live again. I wouldn't be here without this place. It also allowed me to go to school which I am in right now going for nursing. I have a job and my own place and have the respect of my family and friends, but most importantly for myself. Forever grateful!
