The Washburne house is hands down the best DETOX/CSS In the State. I ve been to probably all of them and I ve never had a better experience. I went in October 2024 broken, lost my spouse of 20 yrs my business, my truck, and my apartment. I was negative about my future and ready to not even try. When I left I went to the facility I wanted to go, I was positive, and for the first time of many times trying in the past Im really serious and ready to stay sober. I can t say enough or express how much the BHTS CASEWORKER/CLINICIANS MDS/NURSING, and the kitchen and House Kitchen staff have made an impact on my stay. I would and will recommend anyone who wants to get there life together and seriously change the Washburn house is a place that will make you feel welcome and give you all the tools and support to continue and get you where you need to go on your journey to sobriety. All around GREAT staff! First time going into detox, I was very stressed and scared! From the time I called admissions to when they returned my call and set up a pick up time, everything went so smooth. As for admissions, it was a little long but once I got up to my room, I was treated very kindly. They definitely made sure I was comfortable and gave me enough time to feel better before getting into group activities. Once I started going to groups, my counselor Timmy was the best part of my recovery. I even told him while I was there that his kind words and how he conducted groups just helped me and made me see a different way of life. He believed in me when I didn t believe in myself and gave me the daily kick in the butt even when I wasn t in the mood or too tired for groups! Your help and dedication will always mean so much to me!! Today marks my two months of being sober and I have to thank the whole Adcare team for being a part of my journey, I am now doing Great, life is better and also got a promotion at work. I spent eight weeks at Blue Hills Recovery (Residential PHP) My experience was very very good. I can say that after reflecting on the person who was admitted and the person who finished and the difference it made. I mean as far as the way I felt and my ability to have a daily program, to talk about things going on my life much easier , having a little more discipline, and definitely more confidence in myself. I owe much of this to the therapeutic and community oriented program at Blue Hills. The staff at Grace house helped my daughter and family start over. I don't think I'll ever fully understand how my family got to where it was before Grace House. Instead of pointing fingers and casting blame the staff helped us move forward together. Everyday my daughter was away was difficult for all of us but needed if I didn't want to risk losing her forever. When I first dropped off my daughter she wouldn't speak to me and I cried the whole way home. She wouldn't speak to me for the first 3 weeks she was there I was super grateful to her clinician who I spoke to almost everyday that first month to check in on how she was doing. Family therapy was more helpful than I ever thought it would be. A million thank yous to Grace House.

this program saved my life 2 years ago. if i hadn t gone here, i would ve not seen any reasoning to getting sober/clean. i cannot say enough amazing things about MYR. the staff are all very understanding and helpful with everything as they are also most in recovery. they are very kind and the structure with events that are done is amazing. i have such incredible memories here and absolutely phenomenal people i was able to meet and create friendships with outside of MYR. i wish some of the staff could see me now! i am not the same person i was going in there and they are to thank for that.i personally, Cheyanne Benoit, thank the staff from December of 2022. you made my life worth living and showed me a reason and coping mechanisms and how to use them. without you, i wouldn t have the amazing little boy i do now or the family i am a part of. i cannot commend you enough. you helped me more than you know. <3(photos of me and my boy) i wouldn t be here if it wasn t for this program or these people. if any of you happen to see this, this is us now. thank you for helping me achieve my dream of being sober, clean, and i finally was able to become a mother quickly after leaving the program, which is all i ve ever wanted.
