Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I tried this program for three weeks and have never felt more insignificant. Therapists are over loaded with massive caseloads and are not available to speak freely when needed. The housing team is also severely understaffed and incredibly rude, often late picking women up in vans but quick to issue community service hours to participants for the smallest of infractions. A women passed away on property due to an overdose, girls trade meds freely on property, and loaded syringes were found on the pathway from the day bldg to the apartment complex. No drug tests were administered when that should be obvious policy, to screen the patients in entirety after discovering any substances or proof of substance use. Speaking of policy, clinicians and housing staff alike struggle to meet the needs of the participants due to mandated policy. Housing staff was beyond lazy and rude. I was made to fill out paperwork citing myself as homeless although I have never been homeless in my life.... I was also told all girls would sign up for food stamps to pay the $160/mo community food fee. Housing takes the EBT cards to the grocery store to do all community shopping and swipes each EBT card individually. I am 99% positive EBT benefits are not transferable which would make that practice illegal. Mary Hall Freedom Village has a great scam going and have definitely lost site of their vision. This endeavor has left an awful taste in my mouth about inpatient care and I wouldn t recommend them to my worst enemies.Edited later to mention I had MICE in my apartment during treatment here. I was told the maintenance man would be around. He put sticky traps in our apartment. I could hear the mice struggling to die at night. It was horrible. I have a few years clean now, no thanks to this place!

I would give no stars if I could. My daughter had some issues that she caused her to be put out. They put her out and we was told that she could come back in 30 days if a bed was available. They also put all her bags outside and her on the street. I had to drove 2 hours to pick her up. We called for 3 weeks stright after the 30 days left messages and no one returned our call. When we did finally get to talk to someone we was told that they will not take her back. To me this was a set back for my daughter. We have been trying to get her placed in other rehabs and its been 4 monthsNo one will accept her. They claim they are to help and give guidance so addicts can learn howHow to cope with their issues. They lied and they dont care bout the people cause from the time they put her out they knew they where not going to allow her to come back. Some people make mistakes that do give the right for them to hold thst against them. She only made one mistake they dont realize this is a set back for a person who trying to stay clean.

I would like to know how the staff has access to a client's EBT account card? I thought that the client's pin number and card is confidential. And if a client does have an EBT card why do they have to disclose it to MHFV?

MHVF has gave me my life back!! I was taught to step to take live without drug and alcohol, I was giving medical attention by the medical staff. I had a counselor that helped me through. I took trauma therapy. I came in with my kid and he was embraced by Miss Carla Hall and her team . All these things that Mary HALL had to offer I used it This program gave me my family back. If you are trying to get clean and/or sober and improve your life situation, this is the place to go. Mary Hall provides food, beautiful apartments, one-on-one counseling of a variety of types, exercise, and classes taught by top-notch professionals. The program is very comprehensive, extending beyond simply helping a participant not have the desire to use mind-altering substances. They also accept those without insurance. If you are considering a recovery center, I highly recommend Mary Hall. If you d like to learn more, I suggest watching the free documentary detailing the program. It is called Hope Village and is available on YouTube and Tubi.
