Please do not send your love ones to this place. The clients can leave and go as they please. Tech are too busy trying to be friends with clients. While other techs are sleep. My daughter never got any help at this place she didn t have a chance. Pax billed her insurance and billed her as well. On top of that they told her that she need to pay outta pocket to stay there. The outcome for my daughter was not good. Please find another place. Until this day I haven t heard from Pax regarding any sympathy or condolences.

My son went to this place to get help for suicide thoughts and substance abuse. He was over medicated and came out of there looking like a zombie. That drug called halperdol (Haldol) is a cheap, old drug they are giving the patients bad sign affects. Our sons and daughters are just getting a bandaid on a problem thats not going away. Something is wrong you just drug a patient up and release them back into society. My son had to be hospitalized 1 and back in ER twice . It's been a nightmare for our family. This place need to be shut down. They will be hearing more from my family. It's been 4 weeks and some days. My son is not quit right yet. Crying just thinking did i make a bad choice. Soooo, sorry.

I was there in 2012. My counselor was Tiffany. She never experienced what we went through. She said her brother did. She was on a high shell. She told me I d never make it. I d never have my kids. She made me make the decision to turn my self in because I d rather do jail than her not see me. I told her the first time I met her I was done with drugs I will have my kids I will raise them. An I been clean 13 years. I got my kids I raised them on my own. My post is maybe they shouldn t judge so much. Cuz yeah maybe 9 out 10 do go back. But their is us that make it that 1 percent that everyone is betting on going back to the drugs a the life. This house did nothing for me but I made it. She was not a good choice for me. Like I told her I was done an I will make an I will raise my children an I did. I enjoy the experience there I met lots of great people there. Even tho I left. I made it.

I was told they would not be able to give me a cost until after an intake interview, so I participated in one. Afterwards they told us the cost which was not something we could afford, so I declined treatment.Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for a conversation they told me I had to have in order to get information about cost! We were unwilling to pay because we were told they wouldn't even answer our questions about money until after that zoom conversation. I have called their accounting offices and local offices countless times, spoken to multiple people, gone into the office. Each person says, "Oh maybe ___ can fix it." It has been 2.5 years and they are still sending me the same bill.

I want to emphasize that The Salvation Army does not provide housing assistance. Unfortunately, the disrespectful and condescending manner in which they communicate with individuals seeking help is disheartening. They treat The Salvation Army like a detention center. The staff talks in a degrading manner, making individuals feel less than human. They also expect individuals to pay rent, which contradicts the purpose of providing salvation and helping people in need. The staff up here is not proactive, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Action needs to be taken to either improve the staff's attitude or to bring in new, helpful people. Ms. Dorothy Ford should be let go because she always sides with her staff, even when they are wrong. It feels like our opinions are not considered here. They unjustly write us up for trivial reasons simply because they can. Even after dinner at 5, women and children are left feeling hungry. The infestation of roaches and spiders is being ignored. The walls in the rooms are in a deplorable condition with mold and dirt coming out of the vents. Despite the presence of COVID-19 in the building, they failed to inform us about it, neglecting our health and the well-being of the kids. This is unacceptable is unfair that they only help those they want to help. This is not right at all.
