Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients receiving services from a rehab aftercare program are usually stable and in the maintenance phase of recovery, having completed detox and/or intensive inpatient treatment. Rehab aftercare services can vary widely based on clients' individual and evolving needs, but often include peer coaching, relapse prevention support, 12 step program induction, and medical, mental health, and social service referrals. Individual care plans are typically developed by the client in partnership with their case manager and care team.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehab provides clients with an opportunity to focus solely on their sobriety away from the stressors of the home and workplace. Clients receive housing, food, and intensive clinical supervision. They also typically engage in multiple addiction counseling sessions each week, including daily individual, group, and/or family sessions. Most programs also prioritize recovery-focused life skills training, including courses in relapse prevention. Many facilities offer evidence-based holistic therapies, such as yoga and meditation.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Residents of a sober living home in Pennsylvania pay rent and contribute to household maintenance. For their contributions, individuals get the opportunity to live in a substance-free environment and receive support from others in recovery while all residents practice sober-living skills. Sober living expenses are not covered by insurance since they are not treatment services. However, grants and scholarships are often available to help individuals afford rent for men's or women's sober living.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
Because the severity of withdrawal symptoms can fluctuate, constant monitoring under 24-hour clinical care in Pennsylvania is recommended for early recovery. As you undergo detox, medical staff will supervise your health and ensure severe symptoms do not develop or threaten your life. Professional counselors will also be available to treat mental and emotional health needs.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a syndrome of dependent alcohol use. Also called alcohol use disorder (AUD), the symptoms include craving alcohol, not being able to stop drinking, and feeling anxious or irritable when not drinking. For many people, alcohol rehab in Pennsylvania is a beneficial treatment. Programs offer many levels of care, including medical and behavioral therapies.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

Pennsylvania's specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs prioritize comprehensive care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Providing various levels of care, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization, dual-diagnosis experts use evidence-based therapies, recovery support groups, and education to treat both disorders, promote mental health, and improve your quality of life.

In Pennsylvania, substance abuse treatment programs can help address addiction and any co-occurring mental health problems. These programs incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation to help you uncover the underlying causes for your substance use and develop new skills to help you manage stress and overcome future triggers which may challenge your sobriety.

If you have a mental health condition and an addiction, it is critical to address both conditions simultaneously. If you only address the mental health disorder, you'll likely continue to use drugs or alcohol, which can make your mental health issues even worse. On the other hand, if you only address the addiction, you won't have the tools to cope with your mental health disorder in a healthy way.

Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Therapists tailor the sessions to help you develop healthier thought patterns and behaviors, which improve your self control and build a foundation for your long term sobriety.

Life skills are the mental and social skills that are necessary to navigate day to day life. Addiction diminishes or eliminates these skills, so they must be relearned and practiced during drug rehab treatment in Pennsylvania.

The Manor has thoughtful staff and a comprehensive mental health treatment program utilizing groups and counselors along with outside psychiatrists and therapists. I grew a lot over the two years I spent in the program with time spent at their main house and a graduate house. Manor of Hope also addresses drug and alcohol abuse along with other addictions. As a final note, I would recommend Chef Andrew and counselors John and Scott.

My son recently completed a 12-month treatment program at the Manor of Hope and his recovery from substance use issues is nothing short of miraculous due largely in part to the care he received at the Manor from Steve Killelea and his staff of highly skilled counselors. Every parent's nightmare is watching your kid battle the demons that mental illness and drugs unleash on them. Long care treatment facilities like the Manor work better to treat addiction than the short-term, for-profit institutions that fail more often than not to help those suffering from these illnesses. My current relationship with my son is night and day as Steve has helped to guide him into adulthood. Steve not only helped my son but counseled my wife and I on how to deal with my boy as he transitions back to family life. I am profoundly grateful and thankful to have crossed paths with Steve and the Manor of Hope and highly recommend the long-term care and treatment programs that the Manor can offer to those suffering from addiction and mental illness.

The Manor of Hope is making a huge difference in our son s life. We were desperate and needed help for our son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Steve took our son under his wing, and now he is learning how to live independently, slowly but surely. We did not think an independent life would be possible for him. Steve and our son s mentor, along with the other staff are teaching him skills that will last a lifetime. He recently was hired for a part-time job and is enrolled in a college course. The professionals that Steve have connected our son with, such as his psychiatrist and therapist, are excellent. The Manor of Hope has so many opportunities. Our son is learning how to cook through a weekly culinary class. He is taking care of a garden, and has a personal trainer and is working out on a regular basis He is always busy which is great for him. He also has structure. They take him on day trips and excursions. Our son is enjoying life and is happy. We are so thankful we have found Steve and the Manor of Hope. We were at the end of a very dark path and didn t know where to turn. Our son s life is now full, and he is growing and maturing every day. He is respectful towards us and is learning boundaries. All things we couldn t have achieved when he was home. He needs the Manor of Hope and he is also grateful for his time there.

The Manor of Hope is not a typical 30 day rehab where recidivism is practically guaranteed. Instead Steve and his staff take a long-term approach to complete behavior modification so when residents depart they are fully prepared to integrate successfully back into society with all the necessary tools and support to maintain sobriety. The ratio of staff to residents is very high allowing for individual attention.Programs include career training and counselling, personal financial management training, and courses in computer training. There is an onsite gym and room for families to visit. In short, this is all about 24/7 support.Having witnessed the results for a close relative, I can tell you that if you ve become frustrated with revolving door facilities, I encourage you to contact Steve and find out for yourself that hope truly exists.

For any person that is strugglingwith the battle of addiction whetherit be drugs or alcohol, you owe it to yourself to evaluate the Manor of Hope. I'm the family member of a Manor of Hope patient and I can't say enough good things about this organization. The sober living house "business-model" became a cottage industry in the early 2000s with homes popping up all over the country to cash-in on an addictedAmerica. My personal experience has shown me that many of these homes were established to benefit the owner/investor of the home, not the patientsthat inhabitedit. The Manor of Hope was different. Started by a loving father who watched his son struggle, Steve Killelea started the Manor of Hope to help young men stuck in the cycle of addiction. The year-long program helps heal the body, mind and spirit. In addition, The Manor of Hope is staffed by people that genuinelycare about the patients that come through the door. You feel empathy the minute you step through the door and meet with the staff. In addition, after the year program is complete, there is an alumni house that patrons can move to, to ensure their reentry into society is smooth and successful. To any family members out there that have lost hope for their loved one, pick up the phone and call the Manor of Hope. You will be so glad that you did.

Before coming to Manor of Hope I was unable to work or go a day without using drugs and I was homeless. Now I work over thirty hours a week and have been clean for almost a year. I have a stable place to live and have no issues paying my bills or wondering where my next meal is coming from.

The Manor of Hope is a tremendous program which has helped many men achieve and embrace their sobriety. The program uses a holistic approach to support the resident s recovery in mind, body, and spirit. Residents of the Manor are immersed in a program which has many facets including 12 Step meetings, physical fitness, mindfulness, social interactions, therapeutic groups, 1:1 therapy, family therapy, craft woodworking instruction, book club, finding employment, educational classes (financial, technical, philosophical, and more). Residents also learn new skills such as culinary instruction, beekeeping, organic gardening. This is not a one size fits all program. Each resident has a 1:1 mentor that supports them and helps to tailor a program that best supports them in their recovery. This program can transform lives of men who suffer from the disease of addiction.

Manor of Hope changed our son's life. He had been to many programs before, but this is the place where our son truly started to thrive. What's different about MoH? First, it's a true therapeutic community. Steve and the rest of the remarkable staff got to know our son as an individual. They were able to tell us things about our son (including his strengths and specific challenges) that no other program had figured out. Second, it's long-term - our son graduated from the program and is currently in the graduate housing, still eating meals, working out, going to campfire/Dharma meetings, and participating in activities with fellow community members a year and a half later. Finally, it's individualized. Whenever we have a question, Steve is on the phone or meeting in person with us, helping us figure out how best to guide our son as he figures out next steps.

After several outpatient and inpatient rehab centers and several sober houses, our son was truly stagnating. He just wanted to move forward with his life, but he needed personalized supports. Manor of Hope provided this in spades. Immediately upon his arrival at the Manor our son began training for a marathon. Just four months later he completed a grueling trail marathon. Steve then worked with our son on finding a career path. He guided him toward a CDL training course and he has now started his career driving trucks for a great local company. And he has his sights set on another marathon. He can now see his future. We couldn't be happier for him and we have the Manor of Hope to thank for all of it!

The Manor of Hope is a life saving recovery residence for young men experiencing mental illness and drug/alcohol addiction. The staff truly cares and treats the residents like family.I highly recommend this program. I will be forever grateful for all they did to not only save my son's life but also to help him find meaningful employment and start him on a path to a better life.

Highly recommended!! In terms of age, my husband is not the typical Manor of Hope resident. My family thought he would be resistant to yet another sober living facility and we did not have much positivity. But in doing research and talking to the owner, we realized this is not just another sober living facility. The community is clean, cozy, and homey with beautiful surroundings. Steve is the owner and calls Manor of Hope a therapeutic community. We didn t understand that term until visiting, but then it made sense. Every day is filled with not just meetings, meals and movie nights, but scheduled activities and workshops that are geared towards a successful long-term recovery. With barely a month under his belt at the Manor of Hope, I realize it is early, but compared to the many other places he has been in the past 20 years for addiction and mental illness, my husband is not asking to leave he is content. He has become social, exercises, tries new things, and actively participates in activities that help build his self-esteem, expose him to other vocations, and teach him to develop a good mindset and self-care habits (like woodworking and culinary classes, resume building, volunteering in the community, and weight training) and he is not given the option to say no. For the first time in years, he is starting to feel good about himself. He even has a positive outlook about maintaining sobriety and wellness. He's eating healthy, and really enjoying the food (and he is picky)! It s so wonderful to see him positive, and he is smiling again! He has responsibilities, and is expected to be an active part of the living community. He is also taken to his medical appointments. Some residents have jobs and are taken to their jobs, too.Steve is present nearly every day it was clear from our first time meeting him that MOH is his passion. He gets to know everyone as an individual, really bonds with them and takes an active part in their recovery. I am so grateful for and amazed with the experienced team of clinicians and medical providers that Steve has assembled for my husband s treatment plan, and for the sense of safety and hope Manor of Hope has given our family. MOH is helping my husband learn to think and live differently without intimidation so that when he is deemed ready to leave, he has a strong support system and the best chance at continuing to beat this disease.
