My fianc was in Haven Health for 3 weeks in October 2024. They have amazing staff. Amy, his nurse, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Linda, CNA, was amazing at her job. Most of all, Sara, wound care nurse, was absolutely phenomenal. Even case manager Melissa was of great help getting us discharged. The people who work here make this facility 5 stars. I m giving this 4 stars overall only because the food was 2 stars at best. Thank you everyone here for the quality experience.

We have had a wonderful experience with Haven Health! We are welcomed every day with a smile from Zach and Diana at the admitting desk. I had my questions answered with a smile by MJ in the office. Melissa, the case worker, helped ease our concerns and move us to the next steps. The nursing staff and care team: Maria, Carmen, Edgar, Christian, Lizeth, Michelle V, Carolina, Gail, David S, Emily and more, all put up with me and grandpas every need with kindness and care. His PT team Angie and Brenna are the best! They gave him confidence and made him feel safe moving home.We couldn t have done it without ALL of you!Thank you for caring and showing it.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I wouldn't recommend anybody bring their loved ones to this place. I'm usually not the one to leave a bad review but I think I'm obligated to say my experience so hopefully nobody else will have a bad experience. They let my husband sit in diapers the whole two weeks he was there nobody worked with him whatsoever on strengthening his muscles like they were supposed to be doing. I would call to talk to the nurse and the nurse would never call me back I would have to call two or three times to get an update and even then the nurse had no clue what was going on.He ended up getting food in his lungs because they let him eat while on the ventilator. They had to call 911 because his oxygen was so bad. They kept his belongings his phone his clothes didn't send it back with him to the hospital. My husband's lungs are now worse than they were before he went in there and he is now back to having to be sedated. It's a beautiful facility if it had better staff it could really be a wonderful place I truly hope they get their act together to help the patients with what they need.

We transferred my father to this facility after and I truly wish we never did. He had valuable time after he left the hospital to rehabilitate and get stronger and this facility did exactly the opposite of what he needed. He wouldn't have regular occupational therapy and when he did it was 30 minutes a day. Simply way lower than what is needed for someone to gain strength in the backup on their feet or be able to transition from a bed to a wheelchair.I normally don't leave reviews but this facility honestly needs to be looked at by the department of health. We move my father to encompass and the care is so much better, within the first week we've seen a drastic improvement in his mobility and strength as well as his attitude.Objectively this facility does as little as possible and it is obvious from the lack of landscape cleanup in the front to the food they serve. If you have a loved one that needs services I strongly suggest you look at another facility.

My better half is recovering here after being released from the hospital. Everyone here is very friendly and empathetic. Gail in housekeeping goes above and beyond to help in anyway she can. She brings a big smile to our faces when we see her. Only negative was not answering the call button in a timely matter a couple of times. I brought that up and was resolved. Physical therapy is awesome! Fred is well appreciated with his knowledge and great personality.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us, Mary! We know how tough it is to choose the right skilled nursing facility for a loved one, and we're grateful you chose us to be a part of your family's journey.

I unexpectedly spent 5 post-hospital weeks here, recovering from a bad spinal infection that went septic, so I had the opportunity to use most of the services offered at Haven. Because the program has so many components, I need to separate them to give useful reviews.Nurses and CNAs:Nurses: 5 stars. Director of Nursing, Lori, Amy, Stephanie, all Fantastic!CNAs: 5 stars. All were caring and compassionate. Linda, is one of the most professional medical workers I have ever metTherapists: 2/5 stars beginning, 5/5 stars by discharge.Therapists I was initially assigned were not in tune with my needs. After meeting with Andy and James, the therapists he assigned were excellent. Dierdre, Caroline and Ashley, well done all!Food Services: initially 1/5 stars; at discharge 4/5 starsIzzy started buying protein supplements. Her helper Ky'ah became my concierge, coming to my room every day to show me the menu for the following day and to make substitutions. Both of these employees are GOLDEN!Cleaning: 5/5 starsGloria was cheerfully in my room every day. When my laundry disappeared, she and Linda tracked it down.Medical:Dr. Jatoi is one of the nicest doctors I have ever known. He coordinated 3 outside doctors to make sure that they were all onboard with my treatment at Haven. But within the organization, the flow of information from the doctors to the patients needs to be improved. I was kept abreast of test results, imaging reports and changes in treatment by Lori, who made a point of keeping me informed. The organization needs to implement informational visits to patients at least once/week.My overall assessment of Haven is excellent, not because there were no issues during my stay, but because ALL of the staff seemed willing to reassess and improve what they were doing. It is rare for an institution to be staffed almost exclusively with employees who want to do things better. And it is the employees who make or break any institution, but especially a patient care facility. There is no limit to Haven's potential for continuous improvement with the people it has on its staff.
