Experiences here are a mixed bag, but I stuck it through and have no complaints about my therapists -- they're fantastic.I will deduct one star for a passive-aggressive child therapist whose gender-biased opinions (which could be seen as an attempt to drive a wedge in a family) are better off left unsaid in front of their patients. No tact or professionalism.

What! ..I can only give 5 stars! I would give 10 stars if it was an option. I have been talking to my social worker on the phone for approximately two years now. I get a full 60 minute visit with her and it helps greatly. Early on I believe it was only a matter of a few days before they sent me up for my first appointment. Chelsea listens to me rambling on and on And when I finally let her speak (LOL) she will come up with some good suggestions in order to help me, help myself. Therapy for me is a very slow process. Let s face it I ve had problems for decades Do I really think they were all going to be solved overnight, NO! That one hour a week helps so much And every once in a great while I need to rely on the crisis line That s what they are there for. I have called Higher Ground maybe three times and asked to have Chelsea return my call, and within one or two hours she gets back to me. I have zero complaints, and only great praise to give all those working at Higher Ground.

I've been making progress and I want to thank all the amazing staff I get to see and feel like they really care about getting me better and to eventually live the life I want so badly I will get there with all yall help from My Dr Gust, Cassandra, all the therapists,there are great and Liz is also amazing!! Thank ypu all for for the help you give me and for the progress I make. I may make it slow but I'm trying and that's all I can do is try and work hard in therapy. I love this place

I am very happy to be a part of Maine Behavioral Health Organization. As a smaller organization, Maine Behavioral Health Organization is very responsive to the needs of its clients. The staff are really dedicated and do a great job.

I doubt it very much that they refused to interview a client because of their gender, I've been associated with Assistance Plus as a Client for going on 8 years an they'd bend over backwards to help anyone if they could or even if they can't. They're Kind, their Courtesy and Considerateness towards Clients is top Notch, Unbeatable. Love Em'
