They refer you for testing and therapy. This is the one place I have not felt bullied into taking one type of medication that has no positive aspects for me. If MBH wasn't it for you, keep looking. Eventually you will find someone who is willing to help you.

I have been taking my daughter here for a couple years now as she is bipolar and Dr.Martin is her med manager. He is a good Doctor and really listens to the parents views, situation and input. We definitely work together when it comes to my daughters mental health and what she needs. I also love Marie and love working with her as well! I am back attending the opiate addiction program at Bangor Comprehensive Treatment Center...got hooked again because of a herniated disc injury in my back, that was super-painful. Anyway, I think that the program is better now than it was when I attended a few years ago. My counselor back then was a really good guy and my current counselor now is even better. Absolutely love going there and love all the people that work there from the director down to the janitor...they are all great people that have a great program that I credit with saving my life.
