Avenues is a wonderful program. The staff members are very helpful, understanding, and are in recovery themselves. Id recommend anyone to Avenues who is battling with addiction.

Hi Windy, thanks so much for this nice review! We are thrilled to hear about your successful stay at our Metairie facility. We wish you all the best on your continued recovery journey and hope you stay in touch please!
Upon arriving there At River Oaks intensive outpatient therapy program I was scared scared to death but once my anxiety settled down once I got to meet the staff was greeted by the nurse is extraordinarily well was greeted by the therapist extraordinarily well and definitely was greeted by the group sessions that we had with different peers with different issues it was comfortable it was interesting to know that there were people other than myself who had situations that could give me feedback on how I could do better and it worked I have been discharged with a better feeling a better understanding of knowing myself which I had lost a long time ago and I regained my confidence in my own self my independence my understanding of issues that I just tucked on the rug and I had to get under there and sweep them out in other words upon leaving it was bittersweet and each person that left that you got to know and understand it was just as bittersweet if I was anything to anyone suffering with any type of mental distress check out revokes definitely check out the intensive outpatient therapy program I wish it lasted a little longer but you ve got to be able to accept that you have to do this on your own but with their help understandings and guidance you ll walk out there feeling better than I then you did when you walked in I know I did appreciate the At River Oaks outpatient service as well as their drivers who get you there and an adequate time to be there as well as their music instructors there art instructors it s definitely a place of calmness if that s what you re needing so thank you from my heart for being there for me the staff at River Oaks Hospital

Hi, Juana. It means the world to us that you took time out of your day to leave us this great feedback. Thank you, and we hope you have a pleasant day.
I found the staff helpful and kind. When I felt like I was going to lose it, I would talk to someone to prevent an episode. Johnny was a huge help. You have to know the right person to ask. It took me a whole to figure it out when I was new. John asked us to write a review. The food is so so. Sometimes there wasn't enough in the trays, but after enough people complained they added more. There aren't enough groups in my opinion, but the ones they do have are helpful. The only thing that really bothered me is my father told me he called with my patient code and the kept hanging up and didn't tell me he called.
