Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

er front desk is rude and the some nurses are too. they should just shut down the place honestly. I came by ambulance but not on a stretcher & I was still waiting more than hour to be placed into a room, I m currently still in this room waiting to see a doctor. It s been 30 minutes. Mind you I m in excruciating pain for the past three days. I say if you re in the area don t even bother coming in.

To reside directly behind a school and not offer emergency pediatric services is absurd. This hospital with all the updates, renovations and marketing going into this establishment you would think they would have appropriate and adequate staffing. My toddler was turned away after mentioning they were experiencing difficulty breathing- triage nurse at alternative hospital was shocked.Do better.

Good quality care at this facility. I hate hospitals and after my previous stay last year at another hospital which was terrible I must say this hospital was quite different. The nurses were exceptional in treating me with proper care after having knee replacement surgery. No complaints here thank you.

All the staff at Franklin Hospital, thank you all for your compassion, support, and dedication. I do not have enough words or even the right words to express my gratitude to the ER team, ICU unit, unit 2E, chaplain Arturo, and palliative team that cared for my father in his last days with us. The entire staff is caring and compassionate, all the nurses were attentive in helping keep my dad comfortable and the doctor did his best to successfully take my dad off the c-pap machine which was needed but uncomfortable. Thank-you all!

Do not go here. Front desk is helpless and wait times are absurd over 7-8 hours for emergency walk in.

The absolute worse place ever. Dr Desai he has no manners. The Drs were not attentive. They didn t even treat the problem that I came in the ER for. The emergency room was dirty. For me the only good people there were the aides who were very over worked.

Terrible hospital. I arrived to the ER at 3:08am and the receptionist was so rude and refused to assist an elderly person who needed assistance to get up and asked security to do so. This was so sad to see how rude, cold and not helpful he was to this older person. 3 out of 5 people who were with me left even after being admitted because no-one came to see us. Once I saw the nurse at 3:20am no one and I mean no one came to see me until 6 am. Once the other nurse came to get me i didnt see anyone else until 6:40 am and he said no one will see you until 7am lmbo. This is a joke. After all the money they charge their service sucks. It is completely unprofessional. I am currently writing this review while I wait for my discharge papers which i have been waiting 1hr 15 mins now. Oh and not to say I am pregnant and not once have I been offered anything to eat since 3am.DONT T EVER COME TO THIS HOSPITAL OR THE ER. They were unprofessional and rude.I must say the nurse who came in for the 7am shift was amazing. But the rest, never again.
