Used these services for a loved one in crisis. Chris was incredibly helpful at guiding us through the full process of the intervention, providing a consultative approach towards finding the right facility, and mediating some of the difficult questions during the actual process.Likewise, the approach allowed us to focus on my loved one, not make a difficult moment about ourselves, and gave us the right playbook to get our message across.

Accepted Insurance

Long Island Interventions works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities. This program provides half-day treatment (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:15 am to 12:30 pm).

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in New York is a short term therapeutic method used to treat substance use and mental health disorders. CBT typically lasts from five to 20 sessions, based on the individual's needs.

During dialectical behavior therapy in New York, you and your therapist will look for triggers and patterns that are guiding your emotions. This involves keeping a diary of your emotions and situations and sharing this each week with the therapist. This information will determine what you work on in each session.

I am extremely appreciative of the compassion, professionalism and well researched help I received from Chris. A relative was in a dire situation and he explained the treatment options thoroughly, articulately and compassionately. Chris is a calm and helpful voice amidst a storm. What a blessing he is to Long Island Interventions and to all that benefit from their services. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Chris.

Without the help of Chris from Long Island Intervention, I likely would not be alive today to write this review. I was quickly dying from my addiction and I was ok with that. My amazing sister sought help from everywhere she could until she found LIV.Getting me to accept that I needed help and allowing myself to get it was not easy but, with the support of friends, loved ones, and these programs, I was able to restart my life. I can wake up in the morning and be happy about it and I'm finally making progress at an actual future for myself.Thank you for everything

Words cannot express how grateful we are for Long Island Interventions and Chris Veto for helping us guide our loved one into the treatment they deserve. From our initial phone call to the days after our loved one entered treatment, Chris showed the the highest level of kindness, compassion, and attention. He was a tremendous resource in educating and guiding us through the process, coordinating an appropriate treatment plan, and ultimately facilitating a successful intervention. We highly recommend Chris and Long Island Interventions!

Nothing more heart wrenching as a parent than finding out your child has a substance abuse issue . Hours after finding this out I reached out to Allure , the voices on the other end Mike first & then Chris helped me step by step from an intervention to traveling to dropping my child off to begin detox & treatment . Chris was the tech that picked us up from the airport , my son took a liking to him immediately as did I . Chris was reassuring , compassionate , professional most off caring . Chris helped to make my worst nightmare a little more bearable .My son is currently at Respite for 28 days after the initial detox .I feel confident that with the help my son has received from all of the wonderful tech s & counselors especially Chris , my son stands a great chance of living a life that is healthy vibrant & clean .I am forever grateful !!!!!I m so sorry if you find yourself in a similar situation , but there is hope !!! Please don t hesitate call today .Deb C .

Chris did a great job in putting together a plan for my friend. He kept us informed on how the intervention process works, answered all of our questions, and organized a meet up prior to make sure everyone on the same page before the intervention. I was extremely nervous going into this and doubtful that it would work, but Chris helped to put my mind at ease, and we were able to successfully get through to my friend. I would definitely recommend having Chris as your intervention rep. He's very knowledgeable on substance abuse and how it can affect the abuser as well as their loved ones.

Chris did a great job of setting up the intervention and care plan with our brother. We were able to convince him to get help and he went into a facility. Unfortunately he left after a few days but that s no one s fault but his own. I would definitely recommend Chris if you are looking for someone to help you.

Response from the owner1 year ago
Thank you for taking the time to leave this thoughtful review, Tony. It is our honor to have been there for your brother in his time of need. Hopefully seeds have been planted and a life of recovery is around the corner.
