Five stars to the nursing staff. Zero stars to the business office. My mother passed away three days ago and today I received a letter threatening legal action for a balance due. Shame on you LifeCare administration.

My mother recently had a fall and stayed in the rehab center it was great. Especially Melissa The CNA she gets things done. I would go daily to visit my mother the compassion & attentiveness she shows not just one patient but all of them is Amazing I would hear patients asking for her specifically all the time.i honestly dont think i have ever seen her walk around in that place shes always fast paced Making sure all her patients are taken care if in a timely manner and is extremely thorough and quick at what she does while still being extremely kind and making others feel safe and wanted. It's not everyday you find a cna like her .I'm forever grateful for all her hard work and patience she's given us during our stay

Other Forms of Payment

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient programs are designed for clients who are medically stable and not at an elevated risk of relapse, including those who have already completed inpatient care. Outpatient programs typically advance clients' established treatment plans, offering continuing addiction counseling and recovery education. Clients who enter outpatient care immediately following detox may also receive medical and mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans. Most outpatient rehabs provide multiple levels of care to align with clients' unique needs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Addiction is a highly complex problem, and drug rehab in Massachusetts is often necessary to address it. These programs treat physical, mental, and relational issues that are involved. Treatment empowers individuals to manage these issues without the use of drugs.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

My father went to Life Care of Attleboro after a hospital stay. I was concerned because he had been at another Rehab facility a couple of years ago and it was terrible. What a difference at Life Care! The nurses and CNA s were very attentive to my father s needs. He was treated with care and compassion and they answered my family s questions without feeling like we were bothering them. Unfortunately, his medical condition deteriorated and he returned to the hospital. My family and I had to make the difficult decision to put him in Hospice Care and when we were offered this service at Life Care, we knew it was the best place for him so he returned there. The staff went out of their way to make sure my Dad was comfortable in his final days. My family and I can t thank them enough for this gift!

The nurses are great but the administration and management are not! One in particular is Tammy. She is very rude and talks down to people like they are stupid and she laughs snarky! She needs to find a job she actually likes. There are other managers there whom are just rude rushing you through like they have no time. Helloooo make time!! Our loved ones are there so make time! What this place needs is customer and family relations managers (or better ones). It's not a five star place, it's a nursing home. It's not bad but certainly not the best.

I was recently here after my hip replacement. The nurses and staff for my rehab were great. I want to especially want to thank Bob in the rehab department. He worked with me and did wonders. The only complaint I have is with the 3-11 cna. I needed help in getting into bed. I would ask 2 different ones and instead of being gentle they would just whip my legs into bed. I only seen them usually Monday to Friday it was two female they need to be retrained. All the other cna and staff members were great. If I ever need to get rehab I would definitely go back there

Our mother was recently very sick and required further assistance once she left the hospital. We decided to send her to Life Care in Attleboro, MA. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. She made an excellent recovery with all the support she received. I would highly recommend Life Care of Attleboro!
