The Key Women’s Center in Lorain, Ohio is a community addiction treatment program for pregnant and postpartum women and their kids. They are part of the LCADA Way network and they have residential treatment and children’s programs. Lots of funding options are available based on your particular need and situation.

The residential program creates a safe and healthy treatment space for expecting women and new mothers. Treatment is available for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug dependencies. This programming is designed to ensure newborns can stay with their mothers whenever possible. Support is provided 24 hours a day. Assessments, pregnancy and postpartum care, family treatment, relapse prevention, and on-site childcare are available. They really encourage family healing with extended family counseling.

The children’s program is designed to provide support for children who have been living in a home where addiction is present. This nurturing center supports children’s emotional and social well being and addresses any developmental concerns. Parental skill training is also provided.
