I recently had an outpatient surgery here, and all the staff was so kind. My only other surgery experience (8 years ago, not with UK) was very traumatic. I had a lot of anxiety about going into surgery again, but from my preop appointments to the day of my surgery, everyone put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. Any of my questions were answered with kindness, and thoroughly. The staff at UK are amazing at their jobs. The whole experience ended up very pleasant for me! My surgeon was Johnie Cooper, and my anesthesiologist was Joseph Cassis. I wish I could remember all the care teams names, but my preop nurse, OR nurse, the resident helping, my post op nurse, they were all great!
