check iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

check iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are frequently used to facilitate clients' transition from inpatient to outpatient care. Clients who are more stable may also choose to enter IOP rather than a residential rehab following detox. Intensive outpatient treatment typically consists of nine to 20 therapeutic hours per week, with services ranging from psychotherapy to recovery education to holistic care. Many programs offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and/or alcohol addiction.

check iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs support clients as they focus on maintaining their sobriety after intensive (often inpatient) treatment. These programs adhere to a model of life-long recovery, addressing addiction disease as a chronic, relapsing condition. Rehab aftercare services vary widely based on the specific and evolving needs of the client, but often include peer coaching, relapse prevention support, and 12 step program induction. Clients, case managers, and care teams typically collaborate on long-term care plans.

check iconIntervention Services

Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need

check iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

check iconOpioid Addiction

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

check iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

Clinicians who apply motivational interviewing techniques engage with their clients as equal partners. This method avoids warnings and confrontation and instead allows clients to analyze their situation and explore their options. This technique is often used when the client feels unsure about their ability or desire to change.

This place has changed my life! My counselor Carrie is the best!! She always makes time for me and really cares about my recovery and my life. The staff here have always been respectful and supportive. I have been in and out of treatment for many years and this is the only place that has helped me to achieve any kind of real clean time. I am so grateful we finally have a clinic in Longview/ Kelso! We've needed one here for such a long time! If your ready to change and do what it takes to get your life back on track, this is the place for you.

Not a clinic I would ever recommend. Although the staff are friendly and kind, the wait to get meds was far over any time I ve waited at Vancouver clinic. If it s a busy day, expect to be cut in line and yelled at by others. With the wait being between 45 mins to an hour, the frustration is understandable, but this was not an environment that felt safe.

I have had a pretty decent experience w/this place in general cont to give me the knowledge to live a clean and sober life. Have I been falsely accused by this place, yes more than once. I continued to stay regardless knowing I wasn't going to let this very same place that has falsely accused me of opioid use and have me be triggered into losing all my yrs of sobriety. Due to their lack of therefore should know better that's not in my life and hasn't been in over 17 plus yrs now. I've had a few hiccups along the way but that was my going back to old relationships, people, places and not putting myself first. My late dad was the wonderful father that drove me daily for over a yr to my first treatment facility in Portland Or and being able to care for him and my late mother never feeling tempted to use or cheat, came from me learning the way to always live a sober life not on again off again but I owe you daddy for caring so much about me and being their for me unlike so many others that shame me to this very day that I still cont treatment and live a clean and sober life. Thank you Daddy I love you and mom too. I miss you both so very much.

I mean if you don't mind it taking 5 to 6 months to get on a stable dose and you don't miss a single day and make your groups you'll only be required to see your counselor probably two times a week due to positive UA's and whatever b******* they want to address and then do an hour-long group each week that is curriculum never changing and continually repeats and provides no substance and submit random UA's that will require you to have a face to face meeting with your counselor to explain why you have a positive UA when they know that it's because you are not on a stable dose due to increase dosage availability not being an option quick enough and stand in line from 20 minutes to an 2hrs each day you'll be fine! It's a wonderful place to be if you don't mind all those things and rude staff.

This is the worst Treatment Center I have ever participated in. Over the years of fighting addiction I have been to every Treatment Center there is that provides medicated assistance in Washington and Oregon and this is by far the worst Clinic I have ever had the encounter with. They do not care about client success as I have continually had wrenches thrown in my path from day one. If you're fortunate you'll get the one counselor there that they have that's great and really tries to help her clients and that is Star, she cares about her clients and tries to help you succeed but as for every other staff member they are disrespectful, have lines that take at minimum 20 minutes per each client daily to those if you're lucky as nursing staff will take breaks in the middle of busy hours, they do changes to your dosing amounts without explaining procedures, and it is a fight to get to a stable dose. I am very disappointed and upset with his Clinic to the point that I'm being essentially forced to continue using because I cannot get moved up adequately or regularly on my dose despite requests being submitted. If you can drive to Vancouver you will receive far better service stay away from this Clinic.

I honestly can't say enough about KTS. I have always been treated like a human being. Because of them I'm clean, I have my life back. I know it alot work and determination but the staff here are really nice compassionate and again have always treated me good. I've never felt that they think I'm just a looser and junkie. As a patient we can make our experience good or bad. I'm very thankful we have this clinic here.

I moved from another clinic and They changed my entire dose after I've been stable for 8 years. And now I've been going through withdrawals every morning. Usually a clinic will go based off your previous dosage but this clinic messed me all up

This place has literally saved my life. I have an amazing counselor who sincerely cares about what happens to us. Unlike most who are just there for a paycheck. I am truly grateful for the 2nd chance that this place has given me.
