Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.

Great experience from start to finish, from Dr. Ndudim to Vanessa, the person who helped me in selecting glasses. Everyone is always friendly, professional and, most importantly, very competent at what they do.

My Kaiser doctor (Dr. Goshike) and her staff are wonderful! They know who I am even though I don t come into the office often. They are friendly, put me at ease and listen to my concerns.

The worst doctor's experience of my life. Dr. Baranov is consistently rude and demeaning in how she talks to me. The worst was when I mentioned my left hip/back pain moving over the right side and her interrupting me to tell me I would need to go to my primary case doctor for that. I then explained my frustration with occ med never getting correct paperwork over to 3rd party like the acupuncture and the pain management people, to which she became defensive. Dr. Baranov has treated me like I was trying to game the system from day 1, which is hilarious because I've never asked for even as much of a day off from work. I just want to be without pain in life. I have since filed complaints with Kaiser and with my city worker's comp, who has requested a new doctor for me. Dr. Baranov cannot continue treating people this way, let alone patients in pain.

From the point of introduction, and through the duration of the appointment, Tony exuded confidence and inspired my trust that he would identity the source of my problem and prescribe a course of therapy to effectively address it.

Holly is by far one of the best Physical therapist I've ever had. She's educates you on the injury you have and how to take the right steps to recovery. She reminds me that the process may take some time, but gives Me confidence every time I come I'm that everything will be ok.
