Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

I called Joseph house a week early to see if I can. You know they had a bed and they did and you know I didn t schedule anything else and then not have anywhere else to go when I get got there since I take benzodiazepine for PTSD like practically every other, Vet does including a guy three months ago that they refused because of it becauseThat they re OK with people taking Suboxone, which is an opiate This happened to me today on the one other guy it happened to three months ago and he didn t need it as benzodiazepine for seizures and they still rejected him. I put in a lot of work to get over there. There s a lot of people working to get me over there. I ve been on this medication 20 years I have severe PTSD. This place is not for veterans. It just is not. Joseph house has taken approximately $6 million from the VA and the DAV and other organizations to help us only for veterans and they re turning vets away. And if you tell me a messed up at Cincinnati to or the VA to let them have a new place they need to fire everybody and get a real a real doctor in there and real counselors and therapists who know what they re doing.

Am not from the area, randomly met a staff member and they gave them a call and was in within a day or 2. If your serious about turning your life around this is an outstanding place and the staff is awesome. Noone holds your hand to get stuff done but the resources and guidance they provide is outstanding.

They will help through government programs, as far as personal help, that's a farce, leads me to believe, it's race oriented, period. I just passed the front desk, the young white lady just told me, we have to make sure we are wearing our masks j.r.,but she was talking to a white man with no mask

Response from the owner2 years ago

Our team is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families suffering from addiction through treatment and recovery programs designed to promote healthy, sustainable lifestyles and reintegration into the community. We have served a diverse group of nearly 2,000 veterans since opening our doors in 1994. We would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss your concerns with you. They are helping my bf with his recovery, but most of the time the staff doesn't know what's going on, or what the rules are. He was told by his counselor that he could put in for an overnight pass for Christmas. Then he was told today he isn't eligible for one. He doesn't do well on holidays except when he's with me, and now he has to spend it in there because the people who work there don't know what's going on.

This program is absolutely amazing, my dad is in recovery and is HAPPIER THAN he has ever been. The counselors there really care about him and make sure he is walking the line. He feels like he s back in the ranks proud to be a veteran, they give everything needs to be a successful and he gets the respect that veterans that we earned from service! This place deserves every donation they get and I will forever hold this place close to my heart for what they did for my dad. THANK YOU
