Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

People in Georgia find that group therapy offers a place to share responsibility for each other's recovery. This helps foster a collective commitment to sobriety, which increases your potential for success and creates a network of mutual support that often follows into personal friendships.

Men and women in Georgia may experience Motivational Interviewing techniques while undergoing individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. This approach helps you explore how you feel about drug use and it strengthens your commitment to maintaining treatment. It is particularly useful in the early stages of recovery.

In trauma therapy, you address the emotional and psychological effects of traumatic events in your life. Your therapist provides you with the tools you need to process those memories and reduce the symptoms. This helps improve your overall mental health and functioning.

The skills you learn in couples therapy are designed to help you successfully address relationship challenges as they arise. These skills can include anger management, conflict resolution, communication, and problem solving.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Beware of this place. Most if not all of these reviews are fake. 3 new 5 star reviews in the span of a few days? Totally fake! They're paying people to post these or doing it themselves. They're trying to hide the real reviews which are all 1 star.Let me tell you my experience as an actual client. The therapist that we worked with here was completely unprofessional, selfish, greedy and uninterested in working. My wife had a zoom session scheduled and she forgot, but she was available and could have jumped on the zoom if the therapist had just texted her. The therapist could not be bothered to do a 5 second task to initiate the session by texting or calling my wife. When confronted about this, instead of being professional and at least shouldering some of the blame, she choose to hide behind her billing "policy". To be honest, I don't care about the money and I would have let it go, but she became very defensive and accusatory on the phone when I asked her why she couldn't take 5 seconds to send my wife a text instead of letting her miss the appointment. This made me realize that the therapist is probably the one that needs counseling more than my wife. Completely entitled, delusional, defensive attitude. How can this person be expected to counsel other people when she is so completely unenlightened and emotional?I'm a professional, so I won't call her out by name, yet when I spoke to the management about this issue they also completely ignored me and I'm sure they have concocted some story in their minds where I am the bad guy for making a complaint. Give me a break.Zero customer service or accountability. Trust me, hard pass on this place! Lots of great therapists out there, but not at Johns Creek & Alpharetta Counseling!

Regarding our reviews- all reviews are honest experiences with those who know us well! In regard to your poor experience, we do have a no show policy because we book one client an hour to respect your time and our staff's time. In addition, we give grace on the first missed appointment with a reminder of our policy. If you were not offered that one grace, please reach out to me personally- AlpharettaCounseling1@gmail.com and we can make it right.
