I started coming here when I was on Medicaid insurance through the collaborative care unit. The therapy support was compassionate but felt generic and insufficient for my needs, so I only used this service once. The med provider felt supportive and responsible and informative. however, since transferring to their Navigation team, scheduling and response time are atrocious, the communication to my questions are lackluster, and the ability to schedule is too far out to be any sort of support. I don't recommend it. It's not worth the inaccessibility if you don't have medicaid. I've emailed and left voicemails, and yet, I'm at risk for being without medication due to their non-responsivness. It's not okay.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Men and women in Colorado have access to customized individual therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. These sessions explore your life experiences and patterns of substance abuse. Your therapist helps you recognize harmful behaviors and thoughts that empower you to make positive changes for lasting recovery.

Group therapy in Colorado offers you a platform to share your stories about drug addiction and co occurring mental health conditions. You'll receive encouragement and empathy from peers who understand your journey, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Based on the couple's needs, couples therapy may take different forms. Your therapist will probably take an integrated approach, using techniques from several methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic couple's therapy. The goal is to work through challenges and strengthen your relationship.

During family therapy sessions, family members in Colorado work with therapists to understand addiction as a disease that has affected the entire family. This approach fosters empathy and reduces blame on any one member. Promoting this collective effort helps to support the recovery process.

Life skills are traits you need to be successful during recovery, such as managing stress and interpersonal relationships. During rehab treatment in Colorado, you and your therapist will identify any skills that need to be developed and work on methods to strengthen them.

The tax payers of Lakewood should seek to close this place, they seem willing to help woman, (boy they can get housing overnight) but thats about it. If your homeless and any type of guy, or minority group, forget it. Just drive down Colfax in Lakewood and look at all the screwballs on street. This is not working. NOTE: overnight Detox Center is a good division, they seem to care. Crisis Center side seems useless but Detox is a good service to provide.

My son has been coming here for a couple of years, the staff are kind and helpful. The Dr.s are caring and take time to answer all our questions and the pharmacist even called a week before appt to let us know insurance was denied. We had time to correct issue and that saved us a lot of stress and worry. A few things I'd love to see added are gym passes, music classes, and holistic therapy to aid treatment.

The Jefferson Center for mental health is the absolute WORST kind of bureaucracy. Our young adult son called Dr Schumann s office after finding her in network with our insurance. He asked for help with diagnosis, testing and possibly medication for adhd. They made an appointment (which he thought was with the Dr), held a virtual session, was charged on a credit card and only THEN was told we don t do that . Total waste of time and money. We contacted the patient advocate who apparently is well trained to make excuses. Horrible experience.

I live in the area and recently watched as they harassed and ultimately had a homeless man arrested for sleeping under their awning during these cold winter nights. I had interacted with him on a couple of occasions to make sure he was okay and he was harmless and polite. For people who call themselves mental health professionals they certainly lack compassion. I watched as the man s only possessions were taken away and probably tossed as garbage. These are not good people.

I know now why they have low ratings. First, when I call the receptionist has an attitude. Second, I had a video chat with my therapist and I never got a link or anything. So I tried to call back and still nothing so I missed 2 session already. I don't have a car. So video chat is what I can do. Third, I never got conform calls for the Appts.

Absolute nightmare. These people are dangerous. I asked if they had caseworkers and doctors they said yes. They put me in some call center thing with a guy, who was nice enough, but I have no idea what is going on. I have adhd and ptsd possible ASD so here is a hundred numbers for you to call was an impossible feat and very insensitive if you ask me I was looking to get my ADHD treated as my entire support system did not transfer when I moved like I was led to believe it did. This is what happens when you have execs getting rich off taxpayer money and no qualified mental health professionals. Turns out they do have caseworkers though... took 5 months of games and lies to find that out. If you love your meth great place for nurses to load you up on antihistamines and trazedone to help you come down to start it all over again 3 days latter. You will be enabled at the expense of those with REAL mental health issues who didn't choose their circumstances and really want and need help..
