Cancer research center sent my appointment to them for a pet scan, a month later no one s called to schedule my appointment, when I call they say they don t have my appointment. Bartlesville gets the worst health care because of the people that work there.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is a way of getting nicotine into the bloodstream without smoking. It uses products that supply low doses of nicotine to help people stop smoking. The goal of therapy is to cut down on cravings for nicotine and ease the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

Blood and Poop on each toilets that I went to use, poop in the trash can with bloody depend pull ups, trash all over. It's ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING down and around the emergency room area. Seats are filthy gross. HIPPA is violated when they announce your business infront of everyone while you're standing there waiting to go back. Finally get to go to a room just to find myself having to sit in a broken Geri chair (for anyone who doesn't know what that is look it up) thenFINALLY 4 hours after arriving I got to a room with a bed only to see the sheet was covered with hair and stuff. Mind you I'm STILL in pain with a KIDNEY STONE only for nobody to come in there to do anything UNTIL I've finally had more than enough and said something to a RUDE nurse. She gets a doctor to come in and talk with me. He was very pleasant to speak with(only positive in the entire situation) and we went over some things and I was on my merry little way. I definitely never bring my kids or husband here. I 100% do not recommend.

Currently sitting in the waiting room, for an hour, with my 60 year old father, who can't walk out of nowere, so he's in a wheelchair at the moment. Survived a double stroke in 2019. Except here, apparently having a history of a stroke, doesn't mean that having blood pressure that is 150/80, severe muscle cramps, and difficultly breathing is something that should be addressed immediately. Triage didn't get his medication list either. They literally asked 4 questions, took his vitals, and said "sorry no rooms".What constitutes as an emergency here? The woman with a small rash apparently was considered an emergency. Not my dad though. Cool beans, Ascension.

Worst hospital ever. Would not recommend. My daughter went to an urgent care in Bartlesville today and was told she did not have a UTI but had blood in her urine and flank back pain and they were going to send her for a cat scan and blood work. She went to the hospital which our co pay is 950.00 for an emergency room visit and she saw Melissa Montgomery who was the nurse practitioner that helped her and refused any test and only had her pee in a cup (which was just did an hour before at urgent care) and discharged her. Once I found out they didn t run any tests (she called when she was in parking lot leaving) I called my insurance first and was told it would still be 950.00 for that pee sample. I then Called back to urgent care and the doctor there said she has more going on and definitely needed the cat scan and blood work so I sent her back to hospital and said she just left and wanted the tests and they refused. Said she could re admit for another 950.00 and still would probably get no tests done. I spoke with a Mandy and an Angie (manager) neither of which could help me. They said she would have to re admit for another 950.00 and possible still get no help so I had her leave because they would not try to help the situation. Definitely will never step back into that hospital. 950.00 for a pee test is stupid and all we wanted is for the other 2 tests to be administered also. 950.00 to have all the test done and make sure what else was going on is one thing but they tried to keep from having to do anything in my opinion. After explaining the situation they could have rectified it and helped after they understood since she literally had just left and called me and went back but all 3 were unwilling to try to help. She literally went right back in after I made the 2 calls to insurance and urgent care and she went right back and they said she would be a new patient.

I visited the Emergency room on 9/28/2024, when I finally got into a exam room, I needed help, the people that were supposed to help me refused to do anything! Then when the nurse came in 45 minutes later she did not examine me, the only question she asked me was if I had chronic pain. No doctor ever came in. I won't ever go back to that hospital!
