I was transferred to Allen from Grinnell Regional hospital as they didn't have gastroenterology and I needed a procedure they could not provide at Grinnell. I was treated with kindness and respect by ALL the staff and they got me treated and sent home promptly with follow up close to home the next day. Night CNA (Terri I believe was her name) was amazing and super attentive to every need. They made sure my parents who stayed the night and drove several hours to be with me were comfortable and well cared for. Doctors and nurses were respectful and kind. I am a nurse.and know I would not have gotten this treatment in Des Moines or Iowa City. Very grateful for the care and answers I received at Allen. Keep up the great work. I am an alcoholic and my detox needs were met beyond expectations and my addiction did not cause me to have poor care that I have experienced elsewhere. I am very grateful for Allen and the care they provided me.

Thank you for your kind words! We ve passed your note along to our care team.
I ve been blessed by the staff at BHGMHC. Especially the brilliant Dr. Garrellts when she was there, the one-of-a-kind, understanding, and super-relatable Stephanie Giesler, the funny and sweet office gal, Nancy, and the steadfast, professional, competent, quick-to-reply, and kind nurse, VICKY. Thank you. YOU ARE SEEN AND APPRECIATED in a job where I can only imagine is taxing. And note to anyone reading this - do not hesitate to reach out and get help with your mental health!
Great counselors that really care. And the nurses are the very best Terry, Tami, Sarah, Kim. Luv them all. Have been with pathways for 7yrs. I've been to three or four different clinics in ny life and this is the very best one.
