I honestly do not think I would be alive if I didn't go to St. Gregory Recovery Center. I was a patient in the summer of 2014. I was an IV heroin addict for almost 6 years and now have been clean from all drugs and alcohol for a decade. I have an almost 9yo daughter and a great career. 16 years ago, while being homeless during active addiction, I never thought I would even be alive, let alone providing for my family and sober. I owe all of it to this place. I learned how to love life more than drugs. That is what has worked for all of these years, and I owe it to the counselors and employees here. I am now working on my bachelor's degree in psychology for addiction counseling while working a full-time job with good pay, and hopefully, one day, I could return to St. Gregs to give thanks to the employees, tell my story, and show the patients that going there is the best decision that they can make.
