From the minute I was admitted I was told what was going on and questions were most certainly welcomed. I got a tour of the unit and my bedroom and was introduced to my roommate right away. I have a gluten and lactose intolerance, and the staff sat down and asked what I would like to eat and accommodated my needs. The food is great and there's plenty of options. Anytime you need something you can walk over to the nurse's station and they'll be able to help you. My nurses and the techs and the doctor were exceptional! I especially want to thank Katey, the group organizer. She and I painted and sat and talked and she said she really wanted to be a part of my healing journey and found material for our groups to help me out. I enjoyed the relaxed schedule where groups are in the morning and early afternoon and if they don't fit your needs you don't have to attend. I was able to take naps when I was tired or feeling unwell, and one night they let me sleep on the couch because I felt more comfortable doing so. I was also able to take showers at my request and recieve fresh scrubs, socks, and undergarments daily. You can also take in a phone call list and call your friends and family any time you'd like. I can't express how good this place is, and how amazing it is that I got in when they only have 7 beds at the moment.
