Brought my wife to the er 2 days ago via ambulance from passing out. The er Dr or pa whatever he was automatically start making commits as if she's an addict because her legs wouldn't stop shaking which I have on video. Dr schedule all these tests but haven't fed her in 2 DAYS . Which I have on video as well. Her MRI was scheduled today but noone comes to get her which means they trying to make her go 3 days without eating. It's 6 pm now if she go another day without eating I will have the news up here. The way these Drs treat these patients are in humane. Her MRI better be handled today if not there will be a lawsuit for negligence. It's illegal to starve a patient two days straight. It won't be a 3rd day period you can go tell patient portal that. And to you family members with patients here speak up and do something if not nothing will ever change here with the 2;5 review rating totally unacceptable

I am unable to see at night and asked if it was a long wait time. They refused to give me any sort of idea. They also admitted that they will take people before me. I have a pinched nerve and I'm in severe pain but they didn't feel I was important enough to get help!

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational interviewing in Pennsylvania gives you the opportunity to share your perspective and explore your ideas and motivation for change. Your therapist will walk you through the four steps of engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning to empower you to make any desired changes in your life.

It is important to process the impact that traumatic experiences have had on your life. During trauma therapy, you and an experienced therapist confront these experiences and the emotional impact it is had. This helps to reduce your symptoms of stress and anxiety and improve your overall mental health and well being.

Couples therapy in Pennsylvania is typically short term treatment that focuses on building skills that lead to positive long term relationship changes. Sessions with the therapist may occur both jointly and individually.

Family therapy teaches individual family members in Pennsylvania the benefits of collectively combating addiction. Therapists help individual members establish healthy boundaries between themselves and their loved one who is struggling with addiction. This helps improve emotional support systems and creates a bond so families work together to sustain long term recovery.

Life skills are the mental and social skills that are necessary to navigate day to day life. Addiction diminishes or eliminates these skills, so they must be relearned and practiced during drug rehab treatment in Pennsylvania.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Incorporating recreational therapy into drug and alcohol addiction programs in Pennsylvania helps you rebuild your life and maintain sobriety by discovering new interests and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Recreational activities can include painting, team sports, and hiking to promote physical and mental health.

As a former employee my experience working here wasn t good. My department was full of work bullies, ignorant, clueless, and careless people. I severed ties due to what was said to me by a trainer, a joke made about enslavement.. UNACCEPTABLE and ignorant. On top of that , psychological harassment, repeated cumulative, and patterned forms of negative behaviors of trainers abusing their power over time. NOT WORTH IT.

Update: Nearly 6 hours. For a 15 minute scope. Absolutely ridiculousNot entirely sure what the point of making an appointment is. 9 o'clock appointment, they tell you to be 15 minutes early, then you sit in the waiting room until 10:15, then at least another hour before you actually see whoever it is you're here to see. For them to talk for 10 minutes and send you on your way. ER is even worse.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you experienced a lengthy wait during your visit. Patient care is our priority, and we are actively reviewing our processes to minimize wait times. We hope you'll allow us the chance to make your next visit more timely and comfortable.

I had an accident this morning in the outpatient lab after getting some blood taken, i passed out in the waiting room of the lab afterwards and that s the first time i ve ever passed out after giving blood so i was unsure of what to do and was trying not to panic. as soon as it happened, the one nurse came running out because she heard me hit the chairs, and as soon as she saw me laying there everyone was aware of what happened and so many doctors and nurses and aides came to assist me. i understand this is their job but everyone was so helpful, and kind about the situation, because you know in todays world not everyone is nice. i was so embarrased to have this happen in front of other patients and such, but everyone who assisted me afterwards was so caring and everyone always made sure i was okay. i really appreciate all the help from everyone present!!

Nurses are rude, need to have them trained in how to handle those that do not fit in their defined terms of normal. No marking that patient is deadly allergic to the dye used for cat scans

Thank you for bringing this to our awareness and we apologize for your treatment.

i took my son to the ER today for vomiting blood. he is nine months old and we do not breast feed. We waited FIVE HOURS. two before they even actually admitted us to a room. For a man to come in listen to his chest ignore me when i talked about what else was going on, and then tell me that he s just going to prescribe Pepsid for his nausea. Absolutely ridiculous. doctors will just say whatever to get you in and out and prescribe you whatever medication they can just to make you leave faster. i ve been to the ER with my soon almost 5 times in the past month. thinking about taking him to pittsburgh to actually find out what s wrong with him. there s been so much little stuff and now this. The bed sheets in the bed i was provided in my room, had obviously not been changed since the last person had used them. there were hairs and little fluff particles from clothes all over the sheets before i had even laid down on them. the sheets smelt like body oder, and sweat.nurses station ignored my buzzer for half an hour.when i left i saw a elderly man, yelling in his room with all the buzzer going off, and the nurses just walked past his room.IRMC is arguably one of the worst hospitals in PA and i wouldn t go here, even if it meant my life was at risk. 0 out of 10 if i could give zero stars i would.
