Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive care without leaving their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically receive intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs promote clients' long-term sobriety through recovery-focused life skills training and ancillary services, such as peer coaching. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), including medication induction and maintenance, are common in outpatient care. Most facilities offer multiple levels of care to accommodate clients' evolving needs, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programming.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Inpatient rehabs are designed principally for clients who require intensive supervision and support, including clients who have just completed detox, clients in early recovery, and clients at an elevated risk of relapse. Inpatient treatment helps clients stabilize following detox and prepares them to step-down into outpatient and/or community-based care. Clients reside at the facility for the duration of their program and engage in extensive addiction counseling and education. Many programs also offer evidence-based complementary therapies.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

Safe detox requires 24-hour clinical care in Tennessee. This is due to the health risks that are involved during withdrawal. As the brain reacts to the absence of the drug, severe symptoms can occur, depending on the type of drug used. For instance, alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal may result in seizures. Fortunately, supervised care in a clinical setting can provide the necessary treatment to avoid health risks and allow you to complete detox safely.

I went over a fall. I hurt to breathe, cough, sneeze OMG horrible pain! X rayed ribs said I may have hairline fractures. It hurts in my chest, underarm, and in my back severe! They gave me 8 pain meds for 2 days! I am severely hurting can't sleep or anything! They refuse to give me pain meds till I go to primary doctor which is in 5 more days!!! That's awful that they won't give meds to people who need them. I don't even take the stuff, I weigh 121 & they act as if everyone is a pill junkie, but I need them so bad right now & they refuse to help me.

I m a young woman (23). I came in experiencing back pain from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. I was confused because I was in a lot of pain. I m pretty sure they thought I was a druggie looking for pain meds. They kept asking if I had done drugs over and over. I was there from 8 pm to 2 am. They never got me water or a snack until 1:30 am. They didn t show me the remote to the tv or the call button. I overheard nurses making fun of me for wanting Tylenol for a headache. I was fighting a nasty ear infection. They misspelled my name in their system even after I gave them my drivers license. I called multiple times and they wouldn t fix it. It made picking up my prescriptions a mess. I had to put in a complaint online so they d fix it.

I will start with the okay. WHEN someone was interacting with you, they were at least semi pleasant. The not so great: We came in and the power was down and they were only working on back up generators. My husband was in pretty serious pain so we decided to stay. Upon walking in there is absolutely no signage to say where to go or how to sign in. The receptionist watched us try to figure it out without saying a word. (We recently moved here and haven t never been to any healthcare here. Any other establishment has an iPad/tablet to sign in and they call you up.) The receptionist finally acknowledged him and signed him in. The entire visit became close to the six hour mark. During this time we witnessed multiple workers talking down about their patients/their distaste in their shift. We also had healthcare workers come in and clearly state they didn t know what he was in there for and then didn t really know how to get the equipment going. And the cherry on top was upon discharge, no one gave him the result of the cray, simply told him to sign the paper and he was good to go and then proceeded to walk out. Mind you, he still had equipment connected to him that he had to remove himself.I m not sure if they are understaffed, overworked, underpaid or what, but something needs to be done. There were so many elderly people in the hospital that were suffering due to the lack of air conditioning, not to mention and of the women that were delivering there today.Something needs to be done and quickly. People s healthcare shouldn t be taken lightly.

I have to brag on Indian Path ER for a moment. From the time I got there after midnight, until I left around 1am, I was well taken care of. I've been dealing with extreme tooth pain from a broken wisdom tooth since Friday. It got so bad last night I was crying and spitting mad. Could barely talk, didn't wanna eat or drink anything, and was plain miserable. I've been taking ibuprofen and tylenol like candy (staying within the limits though), and taking the Amox that telehealth gave me.After heavy google searching (Don't come at me) I was doing the peroxide/water treatment, swishing warm salt water, and even tried putting pure vanilla extract and peppermint oil (not at same time )... nothing was hitting it by yesterday evening. So I ended up going to ER. Check in was a breeze, and I only waited about 20 minutes even with like 15 people in there. I got sent to this little room w/ two Dr/Nurses (not sure which) and they started asking me questions and checking vitals.. checked my mouth super fast and didn't cause me pain while they did it. They were absolutely amazing. Got right to the point, were kind, and didn't make me feel bad for coming in with a dental issue to an ER. They gave me a medicine that would tackle the pain and had me out of there in under 15 min..I can't believe how fast they were. I wanted to brag on them because I've heard some true horror stories about going to the ER in general since Covid began. I appreciate you all so so much, and thank you for being sweet to me even after I was talking a gazillion miles a second since I was so nervous. I avoid doctors at all costs, not due to experiences, but because I just don't like going unless I feel like I'm dying.

I'm pregnant and came in with elevated blood pressure and an excruciating migration. I was worried. But from front desk, to nurses, to the Dr. Not one knew even though I kept telling people. All they kept up with was "headache" sent me home after giving me Tylenol and taking basic bloodwork. Here I am 24hrs later and STILL have a headache. Place was disgusting. Do not recommend and will never come back. Even if I'm dying.

This hospital and spine rehabilitation are both uncaring and unaware of a person's need, they took me and licked me in q room here and then failed to get me a ride home. So in turn they call my mother whom is home with terminal bone and liver cancer to come getbme. This has to be be the worse untrained and non caring place I have ever been in my life. I would not even give them one star. The dumbest and the worse hospital in the world. I will never come to either one in my life again. Screw this place.
