I had a wonderful experience delivering my son in December 2023 at Indian Path. From the nurses, to the doctors, to the food service staff, to the janitorial staff, all care was exceptional. My baby and I were both very well taken care of. The nice lady who cleaned the room on the day of discharge left a card for my baby welcoming him into the world. That was a sweet personal touch. Thank you!

Very detailed nursing staff this hospital should be doing better than Houston Valley, my opinion they took great care of my wife during our 4 day stay let me feel like I wasn't putting them out by being there cause she has some memory issues which requires a family member to be part of her overall care plan.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive care without leaving their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically receive intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs promote clients' long-term sobriety through recovery-focused life skills training and ancillary services, such as peer coaching. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), including medication induction and maintenance, are common in outpatient care. Most facilities offer multiple levels of care to accommodate clients' evolving needs, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programming.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehabs are designed principally for clients who require intensive supervision and support, including clients who have just completed detox, clients in early recovery, and clients at an elevated risk of relapse. Inpatient treatment helps clients stabilize following detox and prepares them to step-down into outpatient and/or community-based care. Clients reside at the facility for the duration of their program and engage in extensive addiction counseling and education. Many programs also offer evidence-based complementary therapies.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
Safe detox requires 24-hour clinical care in Tennessee. This is due to the health risks that are involved during withdrawal. As the brain reacts to the absence of the drug, severe symptoms can occur, depending on the type of drug used. For instance, alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal may result in seizures. Fortunately, supervised care in a clinical setting can provide the necessary treatment to avoid health risks and allow you to complete detox safely.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
child-program thumbnail image
Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image

Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
hearing-impaired-program thumbnail image
Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
hiv-aids-program thumbnail image
HIV/AIDS Program
HIV/AIDS programs support disease prevention and management in high-risk individuals in recovery. Individuals who engage in intravenous drug use and other addictive behaviors are at a higher risk of becoming infected with HIV. Rehab centers that specialize in treating this population typically have a high number of nurses, physicians, and psychiatrists on staff who can make sure both their medical and mental health needs are met.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program

Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Visiting from out of state and the drs as well as nurses were all so kind and compassionate. I can t thank them enough for the empathy they showed me during my visit. They listened to me, believed me, and were thorough with my care and tests. So thankful and happy with the services I received. Spent maybe 10 minutes in the waiting room and saw the nurse and dr as soon as I was placed into the room. They were also very quick to provide pain relief as well as kept checking on me. Not just the nurse , the dr as well! Thank you all for the care !

I went over a fall. I hurt to breathe, cough, sneeze OMG horrible pain! X rayed ribs said I may have hairline fractures. It hurts in my chest, underarm, and in my back severe! They gave me 8 pain meds for 2 days! I am severely hurting can't sleep or anything! They refuse to give me pain meds till I go to primary doctor which is in 5 more days!!! That's awful that they won't give meds to people who need them. I don't even take the stuff, I weigh 121 & they act as if everyone is a pill junkie, but I need them so bad right now & they refuse to help me.

I m a young woman (23). I came in experiencing back pain from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. I was confused because I was in a lot of pain. I m pretty sure they thought I was a druggie looking for pain meds. They kept asking if I had done drugs over and over. I was there from 8 pm to 2 am. They never got me water or a snack until 1:30 am. They didn t show me the remote to the tv or the call button. I overheard nurses making fun of me for wanting Tylenol for a headache. I was fighting a nasty ear infection. They misspelled my name in their system even after I gave them my drivers license. I called multiple times and they wouldn t fix it. It made picking up my prescriptions a mess. I had to put in a complaint online so they d fix it.

I will start with the okay. WHEN someone was interacting with you, they were at least semi pleasant. The not so great: We came in and the power was down and they were only working on back up generators. My husband was in pretty serious pain so we decided to stay. Upon walking in there is absolutely no signage to say where to go or how to sign in. The receptionist watched us try to figure it out without saying a word. (We recently moved here and haven t never been to any healthcare here. Any other establishment has an iPad/tablet to sign in and they call you up.) The receptionist finally acknowledged him and signed him in. The entire visit became close to the six hour mark. During this time we witnessed multiple workers talking down about their patients/their distaste in their shift. We also had healthcare workers come in and clearly state they didn t know what he was in there for and then didn t really know how to get the equipment going. And the cherry on top was upon discharge, no one gave him the result of the cray, simply told him to sign the paper and he was good to go and then proceeded to walk out. Mind you, he still had equipment connected to him that he had to remove himself.I m not sure if they are understaffed, overworked, underpaid or what, but something needs to be done. There were so many elderly people in the hospital that were suffering due to the lack of air conditioning, not to mention and of the women that were delivering there today.Something needs to be done and quickly. People s healthcare shouldn t be taken lightly.
