Very bad service. The front desk discussed my tooth case with DDS director named May Spatola, she and front desk receptionist quoted me for re cement my loose crown with estimate price. I came in, Dental assistance took X-ray which was one of my old grown that Spatola told me need to do implant. She stopped by my room looked at the X-ray on the computer and said oh that tooth I couldn t do anything, I need to prefer you to the specialist. Then she walked away to do treatment on the others patient white I was still in my room.I told the dental assistant, May I talked to one of the Vietnamese dentist who I could speak and explained my tooth history clearly and would like to get the second opinion about this tooth. The dental assistant asked Mrs Spatola and she said go ahead make another appointment and I do not need to pay for this servicesI offered pay for the X-ray, the. spatola came back to my room said she could do the temporary cement the crown only. I told her it would okay, if you could not do the treatment I will go to consult with an implant dentist. She started mad and raised her voice to me. You would have to pay for this visit since I spoke with you. I told her you refused to do any treatment on my tooth. So I decided to go home. She said you still need to pay for the visit. Then I told her okay if you would like me to pay for the visit at least you take a look my tooth then you can change me for the visit. She did not even take a look my tooth yet, she was still busy with the other patient. She then told me to go out front desk, told front desk I had to pay for the visit. I requested to talk to the front desk manager, she came out listening the whole story but did not want to solve the problem fairly. She came out second time and told me I had to pay for the service. I requested her I would like to talk to her boss. She then said no, if you still stay here then I WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE OFFICETHIS IS VERY BAD ATTITUDE AND TERRIBLE BEHAVIOR to treat over 5 years patient like me.I called the HR director left more than 3 voice messages but he never returned my phone called.I called back the front desk manager and ask her nicely since that day Mrs Spatola told me she would do the temporary re cement the tooth for me, can I come back to do that while I wait for the Implant appointment from the specialist, the front desk manager said NO due to your bad attitude the last time we WILLREFUSE YOUR SERVICE.This is very terrible way to treat the patient.I will reach out the Dental Heath department of the California to report this case and hope the owner of the Indian Health department at Meridian clinic read my story feedback I nicely contact me to result this matter since the office made me paid $115 for the XRay without any exam or even take a look my tooth. If there is 0 star option I would put 0 star for the bad behavior of the dental director and the front desk manager same as the HR director who not even care when I reached out to address the issue. My name is Delilah L (also known as Vy Le)

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This is the best place for healthcare!! It's located on Meridian Avenue in San Jose.My primary physician is Dr. McCraven. And my physician and I just Linh Taylor, who is an acupuncture to my health journey. My health care is important as I get older.Starting acupuncture was the best. Holistic way, I can really begin to heal my nerve damage in legs and lower back. I highly recommend not only this health center, but acupuncture if needed.

This review is for the Dental CenterIf you're someone who has several cavities, is proactive about taking care of it right away, and requires urgent and personalized attention. Avoid this place. Never have I encountered a dental organization that decides to schedule their appointments so far out (4-7 months) after you actually see them and give you so little time (A maximum of 1 tooth per appointment). Makes me really question whether or not they get anything done.

Response from the owner3 months ago
We regret the delays. The health care system in Santa Clara is overwhelmed and we do our best to provide the care that is needed in an equitable way. Thank you for the feedback.

My Doctor did not give me any notice about my insurance ending at the end of the year. I happened to have problems walking and needed continuous care. My Doctor sent me to a Specialist who wanted to do an unneeded surgery. Indian Health Center should be temporary place for you until you can get normal medical care.

Today September 5/23. Well, this was my expectation, which was good, especially I want to talk about the dental area, it's disgusting, the employee Ysica gives you estimates, then the next time she changes the estimate, apart from the fact that it's terrible, when you clarify something, she leaves you angry, and she cancels your appointments. without prior notice But well the fact is that they did the deep cleaning and in the penultimate and the last one the doctor cut me and broke a tooth and when I arrived for an emergency appointment this day the doctor Marilyn Nguyen saw me so they could do the Filling of the 3 that I already had, the Asian doctor tells me that the tooth I had arrived for and that they had already told me that it was a filling that needs February and now for September and they come out that it needs a crown because it was broken, well yes After that cleaning they did, I was left open, I told her and she denied that it wasn't, when my tooth did have cavities but it didn't give me pain problems until they broke it after the deep cleaning. Then I told her to continue with the next filling that I was going to see how she did to fix the broken tooth in another place and she kept telling me the same thing, angry, because she ended up getting angry too and I got up and left... the attention they give there is horrible . Only one lady is the only one who always took good care of me, they are the ones at the reception, but for the most part the staff and doctors are giving me a bad pass. They have to do their job well and accept when they damage one's teeth and clarify from the beginning what they really need... now it will be super expensive for me to have that tooth fixed because of them and they are not going to answer me for the damage... like this I do not recommend them, please, if you want a good job, it is better to pay more, the better
