I just got out from being a patient here. My first day was very rough and all I wanted to do was leave. That s usually everyone that comes in there but by the end I found it very rewarding. I would say participate in all groups unless you truly have a reason why you can t. Always ask questions and be very honest because that s the only way you will get the proper diagnosis. I was misdiagnosed all my life and just found my true diagnosis and I feel like my dishonest self when I was younger is the reason I got misdiagnosed so please be honest with your time here and you might leave with the same reward I got which was knowing more about yourself and actually having/knowing the tools you can use to manage a better life outside of this hospital. I want to say thank you to all the staff on the AIU unit as they were so kind, helpful, and always filling me with wisdom that will forever stay with me so thank you!

I was scared and unsure going into this process but after the Community welcomed me with open arms I knew I was in the right place. Staff went above and beyond my expectations with how devoted their are to taking care of us. I felt safe and comfortable to start my healing process. The psychiatrist is the best doctor I have ever worked with. I am forever thankful for this wonderful place in giving me a second chance at life.
