Since Northwestern Medicine started managing Kishwaukee Hospital and all the medical facilities in DeKalb/Sycamore, CSP has been perfect! The counselors treat me as an individual and they really have been supportive.As a client with multiple categories of issues(depression,epilepsy, cardiac). When Covid started, they made sure that I was getting everything I needed. Last winter, I had to have a heart surgery- they were so supportive in helping me with the aftermath and staying independent.I recommend this facility for anyone who needs help with managing daily life with a mental illness.My only complaint is that when the best counselor I ever had left, I don t like her replacement. She doesn t meet with me very often, and seems to be too business focused and not really interested in my needs.

When I got my DUI I was given a list of DUI counseling and services in the area. Some people were nice some people were very ugly. Some services give you partial services and you have to look somewhere else to complete all of your requirements which is frustrating. Lighthouse is a One-Stop place to go. These people are genuine, good-hearted and care about what they do. They made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Keep in mind they are doing their job so do not get angry with them it is the state of Illinois that is the biggest problem. You can jump through all the hoops and do all of your requirements and the state of Illinois will still make it hard for you to get your license back. But the people at lighthouse will be very honest and tell you this. And they will give you the information to help you navigate your difficult situation. Do yourself a favor and call lighthouse first. Thank you all.

Sleep deprived at 3am in an airport at Roma I write this as a testament to care, I was able to enjoy my time in Italy sober thanks to the wonderful people there.

This place and its staff are truly amazing at what they do. At this location you can tell the care and support they give you comes from a truly genuine place. I can t appreciate that enough.

My name is, J...I have been a client of A.I.D. for almost a year now. I struggle with bipolar depression and anxiety. My case manager's name is Andrew...I have had many counselors, social workers and case managers through out the history of my life. Andrew is by far one of the best case manager's I have had in a very long time. He is friendly, understanding, patient, empathetic and very professional!He acts and conducts himself in ways a case manager should. Unfortunately not everybody in that line of work have these characteristics from my experiences in life. I always feel safe and unjudged by him. I trust him 100% for me to be able to open and discuss my personal life issues I have going on with him. He always show's up on time and when he is running late he calls and let's me know. If I need to go any where like a laundromat, food pantry or any appointments I have coming up Andrew's on top of it all! Whoever reads this review A.I.D. does HONESTLY have staff members there that will help and absolutely care about people struggling & when it comes to Andrew I wouldn't ask for anyone better!

I attended intensive outpatient treatment at this location for addiction. I'm over 4 years sober thanks to the amazing support system at this location.

Everyone I've talked to at Sinnissippi has been friendly, kind, and helpful. My counselor and psychiatrist are especially wonderful and a huge help to me. I'm so grateful that this place exists and that I can finally get the help I've needed for so many years.

The doctors and medical professionals at the Sycamore office are compassionate and thorough meeting the needs and concerns of patients.
