An important tool in the re entry movement

In my opinion, SSM Acute Rehab deserves the highest rating we can give. Let me provide you with a quick overview. Note, I was there over a 3-4 week period.Doctors: Each patient has a Rehab and Medical doctor who came to see and speak to me everyday of my stay. They were professional and best of all compassionate.The insurance team fought my insurance company to ensure I received the best care possible and extended my stay 3 times.The Nurses and Techs responded quickly and worked to assist me with all my needs. I was treated like royalty.Admittedly, the food was less than satisfying. However, I did not come to eat. I came to work and walk again.By far, I save my greatest praise to the OTs, PTs and their Techs. Each day I was asked about my goals for that day. You would be surprised how quickly you heal if you accomplish daily goals. This group of individuals outlined expectations and assisted me with encouragement, support, and a sense of compassion I have not witnessed in a long time. My condition was complicated from the beginning, but the team found a way to tackle the road blocks and clear a path for me to succeed! Even though I have a ways to go, I did walk out of the hospital and accomplished my goal with Everyone's help. I cannot thank St. Mary's Rehab enough for the support and compassion.
