Place was awesome I did residential. Wish i could give 5 stars but the food was pretty bad its all donated from blessings(they feed the homeless) in return for clients to volunteer, food was nothing like the food on there website or instagram. Most people just ate cereal or junk food and the meals got tossed, they told all the clients there where switching to doordash and jimmy deans in the morning/lunch till they built a kitchen but it never happened so we where all waiting pretty disappointed. The addiction counselor where good but the mental health counselor i was lucky to get 20-30 mins out a session . It nice having your own room only one was shared but there making more rooms shared unfortunately. Nurses where awesome although Ryan was very condescending. Overall very positive experience and comfortable. Learned some good stuff that will help me for life! Update: Forgot to mention the program was very dependent on 12 steps and would bring in and hire ppl that are literally less then 1 year into there recovery journey to act like advocates for a vulnerable population and then indoctrinate them into a approach with pseudoscience and some group facilities would shun you for being on medical assisted treatment, so much so that one client would say there clean date for check in but say im on Suboxone . Pretty messed up when this medication is clinically proven unlike 12 steps to actually save lives. Just because you have a different approach your still valid! To have all your treatments just be marginalized is not very individualized . Also I went in for residential and could barely get my insurance to cover it because i was sober a couple weeks prior and they are know charging my insurance for detox days is CRAZY.(having a detox in a residential facility with wasted people around is also a whole another story when we cant even watch certain shows because there too triggering and they expect us to be in some unrealistic bubble) When i called i wasn't given a straight answer just that will get looked into its been like 2 weeks now. So id watch out for that im really not trying to talk bad about this place(overall it was really good and staff was very caring especially the techs - and they really are trying and making recovery fun they have a van and take you to do fun stuff there alumni group legit ) I just think it s important to know what your gettin into because most likely wont be given much details on your intake call or what to expect overall a lot of clients where coming in confused about certain rules i think a list of what you can and not have would be nice like most facilities do. Because some clients thought you could work on your computer or have your phone etc.
