I don't have firsthand experience with treatment here but I can say this is the only place in Toccoa including the "health department" where people are unashamed to talk about HIV prevention and harm reduction. I also know that the staff here go through a lot standing for what they believe is right including police harassment and intimidation for running a program that is 100 percent legal.

We adopted he and his little brother when he was 9; we soon found out about some horrific trauma that he had endured and realized he needed help beyond what we could provide. SHA has proven to be the answer to our prayers. We live in the same county as SHA and I have personally spoken there several times in the past prior to my so attending. My children receive services at Avita in Cleveland it's by far the best location in my opinion the front desk staff is always so engaging with my kids and the other staff is so engaging and empathetic my three favorite people in this office is the front desk, nurse, and male counselor.
