This place really gave me hope for a sober life. Every single tech was phenomenal. They took great care of us while we were trying to get our minds right. I enjoyed fishing and the classes were great. I felt the spirit of God in this place. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is I think they should hire a janitor to maintain cleanliness cause I don t think having us addicts keep the house clean is a very good idea.

After I completed a 30-day inpatient program with their sister company, Serenity Grove, I decided to do two months of outpatient treatment. It was so nice to be able to transition from inpatient to outpatient with the same counselors and clients. It made me feel safe and more relaxed in a familiar setting. I added to the tools that I had learned at Serenity Grove and continued to work on my sobriety without going straight back to the "real world". I cannot thank AARC enough for their care. I still go once a week to their Continuing Care program, and I can do that for as long as I will ever need!

Halloween was a real treat!!! I came with my daughter for her appointment. Let me tell you...from the check in process with the Ladies of The Hundread Acre Woods it was awesome. Mai, Stephanie, and Kieshawna were sooo warm and welcoming. They brought the sunshine with them. Then Ms. Gail, nurse to Dr. Ibeh was so refreshing and patient. She was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The highlight for my young adult daughter was meeting Dr. Barbara Ibeh. She has the patience of an Angel and her spirit is so kind, warm, informative, and caring. This wonderful doctor made an amazing FIRST impression on me and my daughter. My brother William went to Twin Lakes Recovery suffering from depression and alcoholism. They appeared, from the moment we made contact with them, to be a legitimate facility and we were sure he was going to get the help he so desperately needed. We knew William needed help and we tried our very best to find that help. If Twin Lakes had cared as much about my brother as they did collecting the MONEY FOR HIS STAY, he would be alive today. It was clear money was the most important thing to them. The day we arrived, again, they appeared to be concerned and caring. My brother was there for less than TWO WEEKS when he called our mother stating he was ready to come home. We knew he wasn't ready, however, Twin Lakes supported his decision and agreed he could come home. My brother came home from this negligent facility and began drinking the next day. This past Saturday, our brother William Taylor died at the age of 47 from depression and alcoholism. Thank you Twin Lakes for NOTHING.

Wish it was made mandatory to go down a certain mg every two weeks until your completely finished and off. Present a treatment plan on day 1 with a completion date and contract. So the patients know what and when to expect to be completed by. Exempt for the few people truly getting it for pain treatment. It's sad people spend years going to treatment places and not even progress any. Enforce it. Make them get off of it because they aren't strong enough or willing to do it themselves. It may not work for everyone but it would on most of them making it worth it. At some point people need to decide when to grow up and put it in the past.
