While visiting family out of town I came back home sick. I was having trouble breathing and my chest was hurting as well as my nose was stopped up. I had been feeling this way for about a week. I decided to go ahead and call the tricare nurse line and see what they recommended. They told me to go to Eisenhower ER immediately. Since I have Tricare Select I didn t know it was an option to go on base. They told me yes I can go on base with no worries. It was Friday evening around 4:30 pm and by 6:30 I was back home with my medicine and able to rest. They did an X-ray and determined I had Upper respiratory infection. I also mentioned to the doctor how I have gerd at night and it s hard sleeping. She gave me some medicine for that as well. Great ER!! Shortest wait time I ve ever had when going to a walk in clinic or ER. Thank you for all your hard work Eisenhower Medical Staff and support staff, it s much appreciated.

Nice front desk employees that were very helpful. Appointment time was actually earlier than scheduled. Great nurse and provider. Not bad for a VA facility.

I've found every person working there to be thoughtful, attentive, understanding, and wholly involved and committed to the successful recovery and/or development of their patients to be able to live a more self-sufficient and self-satisfying life, as free from the horrors and pain of mental illnesses.In order to get the very best care along with the very best results and treatment, it's important to become your own best advocate. You must speak up and out and let people know what kind of issues you're dealing with, and what kind of path you'd like to take through the journey to healing and recovery.The staff at the Hartzog Center have always encouraged me to be the primary person in charge of my care and treatment. They've always listened to my needs, been incredibly supportive of everything I am trying to achieve, and have always been terribly easy to talk to, and to get help from when designing my own personal treatment plan.If you want good care, you've got to be a great patient. Nobody can read your mind. The staff at the Hartzog Center in North Augusta definitely care, and always support and encourage every patient to be involved and be proactive with the choices they make towards furthering their treatment goals.

I was skeptical about this place at first because of the ratings, but all the workers here were so genuine & kind. One of the workers who seriously made an impact was Mrs Carolyn and Mr David. Mrs Carolyn gave me a hug when i first got here as she knew i was in a bad mental spot. Will forever remember her.

The staff here wants to see you completely rehabilitated. They do not treat you as a simple dollar sign. Things go a lot faster and smoother compared to my previous treatment center.

If it wasn't for this place I would of been dead a long time ago. I have a life and family now.

I had a mammogram and a bone density scan. I didn't have to wait very long before the tech came and took me for both. I was very pleased with her. She was professional and explained what she was doing. It was a positive experience.

I've been treated at Aurora four times in the last seven months for suicidal ideation and severe anxiety and depression. I really enjoyed my stays there, regardless of the patients' behaviors and attitudes. The entire nursing staff were nice and helpful including the psychiatrists and nurse practitioners. The rooms and living area were sanitized and clean, the meals and snacks were overall delicious, and the staff answered most my questions.

Staff is super friendly and professional! Show up early to your appointment with the right documents and you will have no trouble.
