Ms .Annmarie was so amazing ,showed professionalism and was very detailed oriented. She made the patient feel comfortable and explain the procedure and prepared the patient with n a timely manner.
I have had two surgeries here and have had fantastic experiences each time. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They genuinely care and listen and do everything they can to keep you comfortable and stress-free. I told them I wake up very cold from anesthesia and when I woke up, they had me covered with a heated blanket and several layers of blankets. The first time I haven't shivered uncontrollably from anesthesia!Every nurse and doctor I spoke to was absolutely wonderful and kept the vibe positive and happy the entire time. I never felt like a burden and they proactively offered anything I needed.Northside is the sort of place I would want my close friends and family to go to if they ever needed medical care due to the high standards and kind people. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else.
The VA is not perfect and unfortunately you had to do a lot of waiting, paperwork is heavily involved when going through community care, again, it s far from perfect but if you put in the work and are patient then at the end of the day you are getting free healthcare. For some people like me, this is all I have and I recently when through community care due to a cardiological condition. Community care is paying for EVERYTHING. The pharmacy is always a pain in the butt, etc. however as stated everything is free.. I wish it were easier but am grateful for what I ve gotten so far.
