I wasn t going to post publicly at first but then I realized that not doing so was continuing to hide in the stigma of addiction of a loved one, something I ve done for far too long and am not willing to do anymore. I can t speak for anyone else, but this place is a gem of a resource should you find yourself needing it. If you find yourself unlucky enough to sit in a family group here, you will quickly realize that you are at home when you didn t know you needed a home. This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.

I ve updated review!! My son is going on 3 years sober!!! This is the place!!!My son is 34 and checked himself in 5 months ago. He made the decision to stay the full six months within the first month. I'm so proud of him and all the guys there. It's an amazing journey they go through. I know this place saved my son's life. Kindness, compassion and studying the AA 12 Steps and the way in which the program is run. My case manager John O., and my therapist Lane were the best. They insured me not to worry about anything and everything would work itself out. They helped me find a peace within myself. They never judged me or anything and gave me the best advice. They showed genuine concern for me and went out of their way for me. The gave me the best advice. John my case manager went out of his way to find me a long term program and promised he would vet the place I was going and would not let me go to a bad place. He made phones calls and researched all my options and found a great place to go through. He even stayed after his shift was over to keep helping me. Him and Lane my therapist worked together to make all this happen and give me hope that I can beat this addiction I have. They gave me peace and reassurance. I have gotten more from Bluff Recovery Center in the short time I was here than months I spent in all the other programs I have been through. They truly care and do everything they can to help you in your recovery. I honestly don t know how I would have gotten through being here without John and Lane. They are truly a blessing from God.
