outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient programs are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare. Outpatient drug rehab services provide flexible and confidential treatment required by those who are struggling with a growing alcohol or drug dependency problem but also have the self-confidence to seek professional help.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

12-step icon12-Step

Twelve-step Facilitation (TSF), a manual-guided therapy based upon the 12-step model outlined in Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and other 12-step fellowships. The involvement focuses on the patient’s acceptance of his/her drug use as a disease, using 12-step tools, and connecting with recovering persons in 12-step fellowships.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

If you are a nurse coming here to be evaluated by Lindsey for PNAP.. just lie and deny until the day you die about everything .. is my best advice! I got my first and only DUI. This place referred me to an outpatient treatment due to she said you mentioned to me .. your family said you gotten angry while under the influence mind you I started drinking at the tender age of 14. Stopped at 21 ( had kids ) and started drinking again 2020.. I m 27 now.. so yes I was very young when I started drinking.. not to mentioned my 21st birthday!!!! But because I was a child drinking and got angry I m an alcoholic. she also said I hadn t reframed from drinking.. the last two times I had alcohol was 10/19 then 12/1 but apparently that makes me an alcoholic. This place is a bunch of bologna.. now I have to pay for an attorney and do this process all over again . Best advice get an attorney first.. put if you proceed in getting the evaluation. Give the bare minimum because they will twist what you say.

I love coming to this site. Nathan Edler is the head therapist and very easy to work with. I have been there for 15 years. Other therapist in the beginning were wonderful to work with but Nathan is there at all times. During Covid, we would work together on line. His warmth and compassion for the clients is what you want to find in a therapist. I'm in group with him on Thursday in the morning.

gateway fox chapel is one of the worst rehabs i ever been too. The main counselor marie has no addiction experience, and looks down on addicts. they come in late and make u sit there and wait on them. they pack as many people in a room as they can to collect more insurance money. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS IF YOUR INSURANCE PAY WELL.
