I've been to 3 rehab locations and White Sands was by FAR the best. You are not treated as a prisoner like every other rehab. You are literally staying in a hotel with treatment. You can use your phone in the evening for like 6 hours and have full satellite cable TV. Private room and bathroom. They make you comfortable not like you are in jail.

I loved this place. The only issue I had there was aftercare. But it wasn't entirely their fault. I didn't have insurance and there wasn't enough time for them to do much when it came to that. But if not for the way things unfolded I wouldn't be where I am today with more than a year clean and doing so well. The only thing I wish is that it was a longer program with more aftercare. Other than that this place was great, great staff above all else. And man the food was amazing. The two woman chefs are absolutely incredible!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the ANR staff and the treatment I received. From the 1st phone call I made until my discharge, I was treated with respect and kindness. This treatment is truly revolutionary and I hope and pray that this treatment is soon available in more locations around the country. This place really helps a lot if you just stick with it and want it for yourself everyone is super nice and compassionate and super helpful, and they are just there that do their job and they're all professionals, and they do very well at the job and they're very kind and they just want to see people do better, that struggle with addiction, but you also have to want it for yourself. The program works. It's definitely a great program. I definitely recommend it if you're struggling with an addiction. I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

Great staff went above and behind to help had to update my stars the review was co.promisdd during to staff looking over my shoulder as I was making it. I do have to say would've got 1 review but didn't because there were a handful of staff that truly cared and Mrs. Lorell would be one of them! She was kind compassionate and truly cares for her patients. If it wasn't f for her that place would crash and burn. She is definitely the glue holding it all together.
