I spent 6 months here voluntarily, and had some of the best experiences and learned a lot of tools. Started going to the church next door just to get out of the place, to have something to do but then went back to the church years later. Back then you could still smoke and we would go to the beach on weekends and meetings daily. I still have a lot of photos that I might edit and share block out the other girls' faces. Staff was always kind and amazing and learned how to crochet and my favorite part was there was no bars in the windows. I didn't feel like I was in jail. I'm hoping they can help someone close to me right now but it's up to that person. It's non-profit so it's important to remember where you come from!!

The Twin Rivers Detox program was absolutely amazing. The staff are mostly friendly and actually act like they care that your there, they make you ad comfortable as possible. The Dayroom and bedrooms are comfortable and definately help you get through the process, it can be boring of course, your in a setting where you cant do much, but what do you expect? Obviously the character arguing in an anger management program has problems. As for the man putting down someone as I have said, “ Cassandra” works harder then most only trying to help.
