I went to rehab while facing drug charges. First was Hazelden/Betty Ford. After five weeks, they wrote a letter to the judge on my case that said, Sam has emotional issues that we are unequipped to deal with. I transferred to a second dual diagnosis treatment center that was, similarly, unable to help me. With very little hope, I tried a third time, at Tranquil Shores. I can t pretend that it was an easy/totally smooth experience, but they were the first team to not give up on me. They were the only facility that actually lived up to their promise of individualized treatment. I have a graduate degree from one of the top universities in the world but the most important education I ever received was from Tranquil Shores. It s one of the only places I ve ever really felt welcome. I can t say enough good things about their program. If you or a loved one are lost and struggling, ready to give up, go to Tranquil Shores.

Absolutely incredible center comprised of staff who actually care. Sally and Alicia went above and beyond from my very first appointment. You're treated with respect and dignity. Neuro has also done everything possible to ensure privacy and efficiency. It's the only clinic/Dr's office that I've ever truly felt comfortable at; which means a lot.The only aspect I haven't been satisfied with is that the Dr has a "one size fits all," approach when it comes to dosages. Regardless of whether the dosage is actually working for you or not, what your history is, or how long you've been a patient - she's unwilling to consider increases or listen to your rational. That part has been very frustrating and invalidating. Especially considering the monthly cost. I think it's really important to listen/assess patient needs and make reasonable adjustments accordingly. There will always be people who try to take advantage. But that shouldn't impact everyone.That being said, no center is perfect. I'm very grateful to Sally and Alicia; two absolutely incredible people who put their heart and soul into caring for every patient. I'm happy I found Neuro. It's had a positive impact on my life.

I've never went through the ARC here but I did go through the one in Orlando florida and two of the staff members that currently work for the Saint pete ARC worked for the Orlando ARC when I was in there. They are some great guys. Will & Kevin Kruluts they were tough and they didn't talorte any nonsense from anyone especially when they saw promise and potential in a person. I needed thar from them guys. Saint Pete Captains are great people also never met them but I've heard nothing but good about them. I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.
