From our very first phone call with Family First we began to feel a little bit of hope in what felt like a hopeless situation. Everyone there was amazing from the first phone call to our son s very last day. They have such a gift in reaching these boys.Our son has nothing but positive things to say about his stay there. These kids work really hard all week and the weekends they get to do some fun things which is a nice for the boys. He really enjoyed the outings, loved cross fit, and basketball. He said he learned so much through his therapies, and just in daily conversations with the counselor s that stay with the boys. He was always met with compassion, kindness, understanding, and grace.They keep you up to date on how they are doing with weekly phone calls. And you do weekly zoom therapy with your child. The therapy is so helpful to prepare you for when they come home. They do offer I believe a therapeutic boarding school and a few other options, but if you decline they don t push it. When you finish therapy you have such a much better understanding of your son.Our son has been home for a few months now and has continued to do really well. There was truly a huge change in him while he was there. He uses the tools they gave him in therapy each and every day. He has almost completed his outpatient intensive therapy, on to more therapy after that. I think it s extremely important to continue care once they leave. They really do need a village afterwards. Family First helps you with all of that before they are released.I don t ever write google reviews. I just wanted to share our experience in hopes that if someone is on the fence about giving them a call that my review helps calm their fears. These people care so much and took such good care of our son. No parent ever wants to send their child away and it s so hard as a parent to realize that you can t fix everything . Family First literally saved our son , maybe they can save yours.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional care and support provided by Summit Detox Center. From the moment I arrived, I was met with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help me succeed on my path to recovery. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and always available when I needed guidance or encouragement.The detox process, which I was initially nervous about, was made as comfortable as possible. The medical team carefully monitored my progress and adjusted my treatment plan to meet my specific needs. I felt safe and well taken care of at every stage.In addition to the medical support, the counseling and therapy sessions were transformative. The therapists helped me understand the root causes of my addiction and gave me practical tools to maintain my sobriety once I left. The holistic approach, including group therapy, mindfulness exercises, and nutrition, really made a difference in my overall well-being.The facilities were clean and welcoming, and the environment was designed to promote healing and relaxation. I m truly grateful for the positive impact this center has had on my life, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking compassionate, effective help in their recovery journey. By the way, Amanda, Carolyn, and Walter were the best.

Dear Recreate and people interested in getting clean and sober: Recreate could not have been a better or greater experience, and will always and forever have a place in my heart and mind. It will, for as long as I live be a fond fond memory.. for the quality experience, for the comfort and fun had, for the many caring individuals I met there. I couldn t have been at a better place or surrounded by better people! Staff and clients alike! They were all so welcoming and ready to cheer you up should your day be a tiny bit off. The techs were everything they could be and more..compassionate, great at listening, real and personable, know what they talk of.. and are well informed regarding notes in the computer system.. but above all they are nice, and private and professional. A great plus..is that..probably about 97 or 98% of the staff.. have been where we were or are..and know the ropes and what is is all like and all about. All of them were chock-a-block full of good wisdom and advice should you want or need it. The other therapists were absolutely great, and my therapist, Katie.. was wonderful.. quite intuitive and ready to be flexible.. she s kind and an A-1 listener too! Listening well and then asking crucially accurate questions, ones that are quite revelatory and at just the right strength of thinking. They are very careful to do your paperwork properly too..as some places don t, and just rush through it. They take the time to get it right. They are great at accommodating you and your needs.. especially should you have forgotten something or don t even have it in the first place. I wouldn t have gotten sober at any place mimicking the greatness of this place.. only here. I feel safe here and unfortunately cannot return unless on the other side of matters. The place is, also, as far as I can see.. without a blemish of corruption like you may get elsewhere.The group facilitators are well qualified, Lindsay in particular, and are interesting, fascinating and actually care.. rarely did I find any reason to be bored or tired. My medical concerns were addressed promptly, with all care, and accurately.Eleycia, case manager.. was very knowledgeable and helpful. The alumni coordinators are so nice and know what they are talking about when it comes to meeting the real world again. They keep in great touch. Their alumni is so great and clean and the only alumni I d ever want to be part of. I got such an education here and a residency beyond all I could have asked! Do yourself a favor and if you are struggling, give recreate a call! It was a blessing of blessings!! Thank you all so much surpassing any ability of mine to vocalize it! Recreate is that place!! Few other places are worthy of as much of your respect, and respecting of you as-well.I will miss all of you so intensely.. keep being you and what you are! This is an amazing facility and I would recommend any friend or loved one to come here. Caring staff, fantastic structure and a positive environment to help anyone on their road to recovery.

From the moment that the Tech (G.A.) picked me up and started reassuring me I was in good hands with the Intrepid Family to when I had my breakthrough with the Therapist ( David R.). My experience at Intrepid was not a fun park. But it taught me things that when all put together, made me feel equipped to deal with my feelings without using.
