This isn t my first time here, and every time, the quality of care and attention remains consistently outstanding. I came down here February 2024. I didn't have a dime to my name. But first step didn't care. They flew me down and got me in. PHP and IOP was challenging. But the clinical team made me get over my self to get the help I need. If it wasn't for first step and their sober living. I'm sure I would not be here now. Sober 1 year. Happy and at peace. This place is amazing. The best part is even though I completed he program. They are always there when life shows up. And still give me guidance. Thank you to the treatment team. And the veterans team. They were ale to deal with the VA for me and get me the help I needed even when I didn't care. Love this place. Make the call. You won't regret it

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and always available when I needed guidance or encouragement.The detox process, which I was initially nervous about, was made as comfortable as possible. The medical team carefully monitored my progress and adjusted my treatment plan to meet my specific needs. I felt safe and well taken care of at every stage.In addition to the medical support, the counseling and therapy sessions were transformative. The therapists helped me understand the root causes of my addiction and gave me practical tools to maintain my sobriety once I left. This place was wonderful and the staff was great.

The CEO of this facility used a Falsified Florida State court order to deceive my son into traveling to Florida and being admitted into his facility. He then used a Florida attorney to petition the real courts to issue a real court order against my son using falsified information about him. When all was said and done it took 47 days for them to release my son and they only did so because the state started to investigate them heavily given my proof of their fraudulent practices. Did I mention they billed the insurance for well over $100,000 for that stay. This place is nothing but a sober home as featured in the NBC documentary "The Florida Shuffle" BEWARE!!!!

I think Recovery First is great!!! The staff are very supportive and kind. The reason I gave 4 stars is because some of the kitchen utensils pots and pans needs to be replaced and apartments need to be updated. Other the. That it is a Wonderful place for recovery. I highly recommend it!!!

Our adult child has been helped immensely by this program. I had serious doubts but he has been doing great with the coping skills he learned.
