A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed.The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs.The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too.While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace.The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends.The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand.Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step.Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

I had the best time here at Amethyst, I stayed 21 days and had a couple hiccups, but Aaron and John were super helpful with resolving my personal issues promptly. The food was 10/10, the chefs will accommodate any allergies or preferences. I m super glad that I checked in at Amethyst and had great support from all the staff members, they genuinely care about your future and recovery. It s not just a business, it feels like home away from home!!!

My daughter recently spent time at HEAL in their trauma therapy program. She went there after a short but very negative experience at another treatment center in Florida. From the moment she arrived, she was welcomed literally with open arms. Unlike many treatment facilities, the HEAL website accurately reflects their program. It is not a one size fits all program. It is a small facility which allows the staff to really know the clients and group sessions are deliberately kept small. Unfortunately my daughter was sick much of the first week she was there, but the staff went out of their way to ensure her health was a priority. The physical facility where the clients stay is a wonderful, peaceful ranch that is very calming and comfortable. There was always staff at that facility, and they made a sustained effort to get to know my daughter. Sure there were some rough times, but no treatment facility is perfect and treatment is not supposed to be easy. The staff took the time to communicate with us and keep us abreast of my daughter s progress. Weekends, nights, they were always available. I want to particularly note the hands-on approach of the owner of HEAL. She is passionate about helping people and is always on top of what is going on with clients. She went out of her way to accommodate my daughter s circumstances. Many facilities now have absentee owners or have been bought by larger entities. That is not true of HEAL and that is what makes it so special. We eventually found HEAL because we had a treatment professional in Florida who helped us find the right fit. We learned the hard way that relying on reviews or a website description or what admissions staff said was not how to pick a facility. So I help this review helps others. I can assure you this review was not solicited by anyone at HEAL. It is a true reflection of our experience. I would heartily recommend HEAL to anyone needing trauma therapy!

One of the best centers out there. Kind ,compassionate , and knowledgeable . They give a new start with a solid foundation to those who struggle with alcohol and substance abuse. Cant say enough positive things about this center . If you are inquiring about Coastal , consider yourself fortunate to have found this place.

This program was actually amazing. The staff was wonderful. The groups were so insightful. I definitely recommend if you want to get sober. Kristina and Jess are the best!!

I was there 2021/2022 and I m still sober. Food was Excellent. Great people. Aggie and Roxy were absolutely amazing! As well as nurses. I m so glad I went there

Remedy Therapy Behavioral Health saved my life. When I got to remedy I was honestly a broken person. The staff there believed in me until I could believe in myself. The clinical staff, BHT team, administration, medical, and nurses all played a major role not only in getting me better while a patient there but also in my continued sobriety now 2+ years later. The staff at Remedy is unlike any other treatment center I have ever been to and sadly through my addiction I have been to over 10 different facilities trying to get sober. I mention this because the staff at Remedy make you feel human when after years of addiction we hardly even feel human or worthy of love. Remedy was truly the facility that made me feel the most loved and seen of every other place I ve been to. I value Remedy so much that I continue to attend their alumni meetings on a weekly basis in order to show their current clients there that recovery is possible! For those of you reading these reviews trying to determine where to go to save yourself, just remember that the people leaving negative reviews are sick people that were probably not ready for sobriety and left Remedy with a resentment based on their own internal conflict. Had I not gone to Remedy when I did, I may not be sober today and today my sobriety is the most important part of my life.
