Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Couples Therapy

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Eating Disorder Treatment

Eating disorders include anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and dysfunctional eating patterns. Many psychologists and other mental health professionals consider eating disorders to be food addictions, meaning food is being used in an addictive way (similar to drug or alcohol addiction). Certain substance abuse treatment programs will have treatment for eating disorders as one of the services offered. An eating disorder may also present as a co-occuring disorder or dual diagnosis alongside drug and alcohol addiction.

Family Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I love when someone is having an emergency that they dont send actual help, just a pre-evaluation person. Then if that person will say oh not a danger to themselves or others at this moment so they do nothing and leave... All while the person is having a full mental breakdown

I am taken aback by the mass amount of very negative reviews. I went here for 2 years or so and I graduated therapy and their DBT program and Im on medication management right now so I dont have to go into the center anymore as all my followups are online. Every single one of my experiences here was phenomenal. I might not have felt like that in the very very early days of starting therapy, but they have helped me so so much everyone is very very friendly and helpful and polite and cares about you so I dont know whats going on with all these other reviews. The only downside I could say is with medication management that Im on, I have had a new doctor a lot. So I think there must be a high turnover rate with their doctors otherwise that must mean I just scare every single one of them off and they push me onto somebody else but Ive been assured thats not the case. The DBT program I cannot say enough good things about seriously everybody should get into that. I did 2 cycles and it has changed my life.Upon my very first phone call to make an appt, the earliest I could get was 3 months out so of course that sucked but I kept that appt. It was 2 hrs long and felt like a therapy session of its own. They really try to match you up with the best therapist for you based on that seriously in depth evaluation. I will forever appreciate my experiences here.

A absolute nightmare of an experience for our family. We were hoping and praying for our teen daughter to receive the help she needed. After the expensive intake/evaluation, our requests were ignored and follow-through for homebound paperwork required for school was never completed. At that time we moved to find therapy elsewhere. Even after this, they took money from our state tax refund even though we have insurance! When I called to inquire, they only said my insurance was not on file with them and that there was nothing I could do because insurance doesn t back pay for 2 years ago. I d give this place less than a 1 if it was possible. Please seek assistance elsewhere!

The negative reviews are not lying. Avoid this place if you are able to. The psychiatrist doesn t listen or read charts. They will try and prescribe medications that your child has had adverse reactions to in the past, They refuse to check medication levels that need blood draws which can be lethal if dosages are not right, and when you ask for a second opinion they will go so far as to make false DSS reports even when you have evidence showing they are lying. They will then tell you that you are lying about diagnosis and accuse you of wanting a sick child with 12 years of records and psychiatric reports. As I said protect your children by not utilizing this facility.

Every employee was incredibly rude. Not only was the environment behind the counter hostile, but I would even call it toxic. This is supposed to be a place for mental wellness? I left with my niece and immediately made her an appt at my psychiatrist. I dont recommend this business, and actually think it should be investigated seriously.

Completely awful place to deal with. They do not care if your child is out of medicine that they have been taking for over 2 years! We were handwritten 3 months prescriptions because their system was down and when it was time for the 3rd paper prescription to be filled the pharmacy said it was expired and now this office refuses to do anything until her appointment that is 10 days away! If I could give zero stars I would!

This isnt a place to get help. Its the bare minimum of what they think help is. Having someone tell you what you want to hear in a soft voice is not a solution and then theyll hand you hand you a sheet of paper which is the equivalent of handing a toddler a coloring sheet and crayons at a restraunt. Your insurance should cover most the costs as well and expect a copay. But they will then purposefully forget to ask you for the copay, so then they can try and extort more money out of you by constantly sending you letters that you owe money. Which is not good for anyones mental health.

I was once a patient there and they closed my case after I rescheduled my appointment for March 8, 2022 then comes that day I called and was told my case had been closed; it left me in wonder and I was furious.
